IIM Ranchi Launches IPM – Know Programme Details, Seats, Fees and Admission Process

IIM Ranchi, the ninth institute of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) has launched the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) of five years duration. IPM is a combined programme for BBA (3 years duration) and MBA (2 years duration). After IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak, IIM Ranchi has joined the league of these institutes in offering IPM programme. Incidentally, IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya have also launched IPM programmes from the academic year 2021. IIM Ranchi IPM Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of IIM Ranchi IPM programme are as follows:

Candidates should have passed Class 10 and Class 12 Board exam from a recognised Board or institute with minimum 60 per cent aggregate (55 per cent for SC, ST and PwD candidates)

There is no age limit for applying to this programme

Indian Nationals and PIO/OCI Card Holders are eligible for applying to the programme

Foreign citizens without a PIO?OCI card are not eligible for applying
IIM Ranchi IPM Seats
There are a total of 120 seats offered for the IIM Ranchi IPM 2021-26 batch. Reservation of seats will be applicable as per the Government of India directives for eligible candidates.
IIM Ranchi IPM Fees
The fees for the IIM Ranchi IPM 2021-26 batch is Rs 14 lakh for the first three years. The fee for the next two years of the course will be the same as that of the MBA programmes of the present academic year.
IIM Ranchi IPM Application Process
The application process for IIM Ranchi IPM is completely online. Candidates have to visit the IIM Ranchi official website and fill-up the form with mandatory details and pay the application fee of Rs 2,000 (Rs 1,000 for reserved category candidates). The last date of application is June 30.
IIM Ranchi IPM Admission Process
The applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of their scores in the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) taken on March 13 or May 8. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds conducted by IIM Ranchi.
The first batch of IIM Ranchi IPM is expected to commence from September 2021. It is a fully residential programme. After completing the first three years of the programme, students have the option to exit with a BBA degree upon successful completion of the course.
