Important Guidelines for UPESMET UG 2025 Online Exam: System Requirement
Before beginning with the UPESMET-UG exam 2025 candidates must keep the following hardware/software ready to avoid any hassle at the last moment. Candidates are advised to check the system requirements a day before the examination and keep the system ready for D-Day. Candidates can appear for the UPESMET-UG 2025 exam through any of the support devices: Desktop computers, laptop computers, and Android mobile devices (phones and tablets) only. Does not support iPads & iPhones

Instructions for getting ready for the assessment
- Candidates must place themselves in a separate room to avoid disturbance
- Try to avoid bright lights in the background, e.g. Windows
- Aspirants must adjust microphone
- Adjust the camera at eye-level
- Close all other windows, browser & social media apps
- Candidates must plan to start the system on the test day 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Candidates will not be allowed to appear after the scheduled time
- Any objects like a bottle, pen, paper, gadgets, calculator, notebook, headphones etc. should not be on the desk.
Steps to Begin the UPESMET UG Online Assessment
Step 1- Candidates must click on the link that will be provided a day or 2 before the exam. The screen will display the login page.
- Enter the correct login credentials. Login details must be entered from the mail shared in advance
- Now click on the tab ‘Start Assessment’
Step 2- Screen will now display the consent page to access the webcam and audio. Click on the tab ‘Accept’
Step 3- Candidates must go through the important instructions & guidelines before starting the assessment. After reading all the instructions click on the tab ‘Start now’
Step 4- Candidates must now ensure that the camera is placed correctly. The assessment will not begin of the face is not detected. Click the picture and then on ‘Proceed’ to begin the assessment
Step 5- Enable the Fullscreen mode. If the candidate will try to switch the mode, the aspirant will be logged out automatically in 15 seconds.
Step 6- Begin the assessment as guided.
Other Important Guidelines for UPESMET-UG 2025 Online Exam
- Candidates must ensure that the wall behind has a plain background with no objects hanging on it.
- Candidates must be seated during the complete duration of the assessment
- Candidates must not close the exam window unless it is completed and submitted.
- The system detects the face, hence candidates must avoid unnecessary movements.
- Candidates must ensure there is intrusion of other people in the room as the system will detect multiple faces.
- Candidates must not indulge in any unfair means. Candidates will be proctored throughout the exam.
- System will detect the window switch
- Don’t use any other gadgets while taking the exam
- Multiple logins will be detected by the system. Candidates must ensure to log in from one system.
Common Technical Errors
Error 1: Connecting with the server
- This error usually occurs when there is no internet connection
- Do not refresh or close the browser when the system is trying to connect to the internet.
- Answers will be submitted automatically once the internet is restored
Error 2: Submission Failure
- This error occurs when there is no internet connection
- Do not refresh the page
- Candidates must note down the following details: question number, answer number, CoCubes ID and the test name on the sheet. Share the picture of the same with your College Coordinator immediately.
