SNAP registration cum application process is underway. The last date to apply for SNAP 2022 is November 24. The examination authority announced the official SNAP mock test schedule on September 15. The official mock test will be conducted for registered candidates from September 28 to September 30. To appear for the official mock test, candidates need to submit their SNAP 2022 application form and make fee payment by September 26.

The Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU) announced SNAP 2022 exam dates and registration process commencement online on August 4. Candidates having graduation or equivalent degree from a recognised university will be eligible to fill the SNAP application form 2022. Candidates in the final year of graduation can also apply for SNAP 2022

SIU conducts the SNAP exam for admission to various MBA/PGDM courses offered by its constituent institutes. The exam is conducted on three days and candidates get two chances. For both chances, only one registration is required. Candidates can fill their first and second exam preference in a single form only. SNAP last date to apply is November 24, 2022.

SNAP Registration and Application Process 2022?

Any graduate who has scored a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate from a recognised university or institute (45 per cent for SC/ST candidates) can apply for the SNAP exam. To register, candidates need to create a login ID on the official website of SNAP. Given below are the steps of SNAP 2022 registration:

STEP 1: SNAP Registration 2022

  • Open the SNAP 2022 website in a new window: snaptest.org

  • Click on New User - Register

  • Enter name, phone number, email ID and other details

  • An OTP will be sent to your mobile number
  • Enter OTP and verify your email ID 

On successful registration, a SNAP 2022 login ID and password is shared in email. This ID and password are to be used for all login purposes.

Step 2: Filling SNAP Application Form 2022

After registering online and making payment of the application fee, the next step is to fill the SNAP application form 2022. Follow the steps given below:

  • Enter relevant details in the online application form

  • Select desired test city, PG courses and institutes

  • Click on 'save/submit button' to move to fee payment window

  • Pay SNAP exam fee of INR 1,950

STEP 3: Payment of SNAP Exam Fee

SNAP exam fee of INR 1,950 is to be paid at the time of registration. The SNAP 2022 fee can be paid online in the following modes.

Documents to Upload During SNAP Registration 2022

Candidates have to upload only their photo at the time of SNAP registration along with the application form details of which are mentioned below:

  • Scanned copy of the candidate’s passport size photo, preferably with white background

  • It should not be more than three months old

  • Acceptable formats are jpg, .jpeg, .png or .gif

SNAP Application Form Filling: Selection of Course and Institute

SNAP candidates are also required to mention the programme they wish to pursue (at SIU institutes) through SNAP test. For this, they are required to pay INR 1,000 per programme at the time of filling the SNAP application form.

Fee payment of the desired MBA programme can be done after making the payment for SNAP Test. Once the candidate has paid the test fee, he/she can proceed to the Part II of the SNAP form for filling in details of preferred programme and institutes) and make payment.

SNAP Registration and Application Form: Important Points

  • SNAP application form is available in online mode only

  • Details (except name, date of birth, category and test city preference) mentioned in the form can be edited only till the last date of form submission

  • Candidates are allowed to choose up to three options as preferred test cities. However, allotment of the test city and centre will be based on availability

  • Candidates must ensure they complete the fee payment process for desired course and institutes before the last date of SNAP registration 2022

  • Candidates must check all the details mentioned in the SNAP form thoroughly before clicking the save/submit button
  • Candidates must save a copy of duly filled SNAP application form and fee payment acknowledgement slip for future reference

Q: I am in my final year of Graduation. Can I apply for SNAP 2022?

A: Yes, you are eligible to apply for SNAP 2022 but you will need to clear the final year exam and pass the bachelor's degree course to be selected for admission at SIU institutes.

Q: Can I submit SNAP application form offline?

A: No, SNAP 2022 application form will be accepted only through online mode. There is no provision for submitting the form offline at the university office. The candidates must fill the online application form before the deadline.

Q: If I do not appear for the exam, will my SNAP exam fee be refunded?

A: No, the SNAP exam fee is non-refundable under any circumstance. The candidate cannot seek a fee refund. The aspirants must make sure that they fill the form only if they intend to appear for the exam.

Q: Is there any relaxation in SNAP registration fee for Reserved category candidates?

A: No, the SNAP registration fee is the same for all candidates. The amount of INR 1,950 is to be paid as exam fee. An additional amount of INR 1,000 is to be paid per SIU institute. Also, the candidates will have to register separately for their second SNAP attempt for the fee of INR 1,950.

Q: What to do in case I forget my SNAP login password?

A: In case a candidate forgets the SNAP password, he/she can generate a new password. To generate a new password, one can click on the ‘forgot password’ tab on the login page and follow the instructions.

Q: What is the offline fee payment mode for SNAP exam?

A: The offline fee payment mode for SNAP 2022 exam is Demand Draft (DD). Candidates can submit a DD of INR 1,950 per test from any Nationalised Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune. Details for this are mentioned above.

Q: I belong to Reserved category. Do I need to fill a separate SNAP registration form?

A: No, the SNAP application form is common for candidates belonging to all categories. They have to mention their category and upload the supporting document at the time of form submission.

Q: Do I need to fill multiple SNAP application forms if I want to apply to multiple Symbiosis institutes?

A: No, candidates need not fill multiple application forms if they want to apply to multiple Symbiosis institutes. The SNAP application form 2022 will have a field in which the candidates can select their preferred institutes.

Q: Can I make corrections in my SNAP 2022 form after submission?

A: Correction in the already submitted application form is not allowed in SNAP as it doesn't have form correction provision like other MBA entrance exams. Thus candidates must preview the form at least once before submitting it.

Q: How many SNAP test cities can I select in the application form?

A: Candidates can select up to three cities in the SNAP application form for the allotment of exam centre from the list of 94 cities provided. It is advisable to choose your home city as first preference.

NMAT is conducted by a particular institute called Narsee Monjee for selecting MBA students for their college. NMAT has a different exam structure and syllabus from CAT with No negative marking.
