Know your Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Before starting preparation, candidates must check IPU CET exam pattern. By knowing pattern, candidates will also be able to know how examination will be conducted and more. There are fewer chances of candidates performing well in examination if they are physically and mentally tired. Therefore, candidates must have good sleep routine and diet. Healthy foods and fruits should be consumed, and candidates must participate in extra-curricular activities to keep mental health stable.

Time management

After knowing pattern and syllabus, make a proper timetable to divide the time equally for each of the subjects. Time management is the key to scoring better marks in the entrance test. 

Early Preparation

The earlier you start preparing for exam, more time you will have to cover entire syllabus and practice as many questions as possible.

IPU CET 2026 will be conducted for 150 minutes. There will be 100 questions with 4 Multiple Choice Response. Each question will carry 4 marks. There shall be a negative marking of one mark for every wrong answer.

The official syllabus will not be made public by IPU CET University. The IPU CET 2026 undergraduate syllabus will be based on the Class 11 and 12 curriculum. It is recommended that candidates review and go over every topic and concept they studied in Classes 11 and 12.
