Q:   How many papers are there in the Maharashtra HSC exam?
A: 

Maharashtra HSC exam carries 5 compulsory subjects including English. Candidates have the option to choose 6th additional subject in Class 12. The total marks allotted to the test are 500 or 600 depending upon the number of subjects. Minimum 35% marks are required to be scored by candidates in the exam.

 

 

Q:   How many sample papers should I solve for Maharashtra HSC exam?
A: 

Students can solve 5 to 10 sample papers for Maharashtra HSC exam. Solving these papers helps to increased speed and accuracy. It also boosts confidence of candidates. 

Q:   What are the types of questions asked in Maharashtra HSC exam?
A: 

The Maharashtra HSC exam consists of mix of objective (MCQs), very short answer, short answer and long answer questions. 25 per cent questions are MCQs while remaining 75 per cent covers subjective, analytical and descriptive type questions.

 

 

Q:   Do examiners deduct marks for exceeding the word limit in the language papers in Class 12 board exam?
A: 

No, examiners will not deduct marks for exceeding the word limit. Marks will be deducted for spelling mistakes in the Language Papers. Students are advised to be careful with the spellings, so that they won't loose any marks. They are also advised not to waste time by writing much more than the word limit.
