Chandigarh University (CU) offers several UG and PG distance learning programmes through Chandigarh University Institute of Distance and Open Learning (CU-IDOL). CU Distance Education Admission 2021: Highlights

CU Distance Education admissions to all the courses are based on merit scores in the last qualifying exam. The admission process of CU IDOL usually wraps up in July every year. A few highlights regarding CU IDOL admission 2021 for popular courses are mentioned below:

CU Distance Education UG Admission 2021

CU Distance Education Admission 2021: BCom, BBA, BCA

The University offers BCom, BBA and BCA programmes at the UG level. Chandigarh University Distance Education admissions are merit-based. Candidates are selected based on their qualifying exam scores. The course-wise eligibility criteria is mentioned below:

CU Distance Education PG Admission 2021

At the PG level, the University offers MA, MCom, MBA and MCA programmes via distance education. Chandigarh University Distance Education admission to these courses is merit-based. Below mentioned are the course-wise details:

CU Distance Education MA Admission 2021

Under the stream of Arts, the University offers a two-year MA programme. The total fee for the programme is Rs 24,900 (including SLM hard copy). It is offered in two specialisations, which are mentioned below:

CU Distance Education MBA Admission 2021

MBA is a full-time two-year programme offered in four specialisations, and admission to which is merit-based. The total fee for the programme is Rs 28,900 (including SLM hard copy). One of the unique features of MBA is, students can opt for a degree of PG Diploma after the successful completion of first two semesters. All the MBA specialisations along with the eligibility criteria are as follows:

CU Distance Education Admission 2021: MCom, MCA

Apart from MA and MBA, CU IDOL also offers MCom and MCA programmes at the PG level. The duration of both the programmes is two years each. Candidates are selected based on their qualifying exam scores. The eligibility criteria for the same is as follows:

CU Distance Education Application Process 2021

CU Distance Education application process is conducted through both online and offline modes. Candidates have to register through the official website of the University to apply for any of the programmes. The detailed step-wise CU Distance Education application process is mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit official website of CU IDOL, www.cuidol.in.

Step 2: Click on “Apply Now” and register yourself.

Step 3: Fill in the application form by entering required personal and academic details.

Step 4: Upload the required documents, such as qualifying exam marksheet and a passport-size photograph.

Step 5: Pay the application fee online via debit/ credit card or net banking.

Note: For offline application process, candidates can visit the regional office of CU and buy a prospectus.
