Students’ Speak: Post-placement statistics

There are two types of specialisations, super and dual. In a super specialisation, the student chooses only one subject and puts all the focus into it. However, in dual, students can choose two specialisations, one as major and the other one as minor.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers almost 100 percent placements to the eligible students pursuing Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Before I discuss the post-placement statistics, I would like to list various specialisations offered at LPU.

However, in dual, students can choose two specialisations, one as major and the other one as minor. Be it any specialisation, if the student is dedicated, clears the technical concept of the chosen specialisation and have sound communication skills, it is only then the success will surely knock the door with a handsome package from a highly reputed company. All the specialisations have their own importance.

More than 200 companies visited the campus for placements. No company wished to leave back an eligible candidate who would add value to their organisation with his/her skills. Numerous good companies and multinational companies prefer to visit the campus because of its international accreditations (ACBSP) and many of its achievements. Even though all the specialisations get nearly equal company visits but marketing and sales get comparatively more focus from the companies. As a result, the student also tends to choose marketing more. If not taken as a super specialisation for major cases, students at least opt marketing as major or minor along with any specialization in dual specialization to stay on the secure side.

LPU has nearly 100 percent placements because the university puts immense effort to make every student eligible enough to get placed. Companies start visiting as soon as the students come back from their internship. Along with the university, if any student has the will to get placed then there is a high chance. 200 companies mean equal opportunities, which are more than enough for any willing and dedicated student. Good students along with the average ones get placed by the end of the third semester.

From 2019, LPU started following the trimester system for more ease. It gives students more exposure to the specialisations and their subjects.
