The college is bad among the worst - AKGEC.

Placements: The placements happen only for 10-30 students per year from a total B.Tech batch of 500-600. Only a few companies come for the placements and that too for CS and IT students. The highest package offered was 5.6 LPA while the lowest goes around 1.4 LPA-1.6 LPA. Since the placements are in such bad conditions, you can't expect to have internship from the college. One has to himself look for internships.

Infrastructure: The college is all about the infrastructure. They keep on boasting about their German-style infrastructure that they have as if it helps in some career development of students. The labs are well-maintained, and classrooms are good too. There are two college canteens in the campus which serve not so good quality food. The hostel has small rooms where college tries to accommodate two members in the first year and later three in the following years.

Faculty: Most of the faculty is inexperienced, and itself lacks the basic concepts. The teaching quality is such that attending a class is just a pass time where one even with full seriousness will fail to understand anything. The teaching delivery happens in the traditional way. Few faculty members are way below the knowledge level of what even a first year would have.

Other: The college management is the worst as it will never help you, in any case, you can't even expect them to give you holiday even if there's an emergency at home. Only a few events happen throughout the year. The college provides bus service for the local students. The campus crowd is full of people who will degrade your innate quality if you spend too much time with them. There are no scholarships, no competitions of good level and exposure.

Very nice college when compared to other top AKTU colleges.

Placements: The placement cell of the college coordinates with companies to ensure students get placed in good companies. Profiles in information and technology are offered the most. Infosys and Syntel are regular recruiters and apart from this, many core companies also visited the campus during my time such as Siemag, Torrent Power, National Instruments, etc.

Infrastructure: It has probably the best infrastructure amongst all AKTU colleges. Hostels are well-maintained and gardens are well-groomed. Classrooms are big, airy and well-lit. The library is well stocked. There is a separate faith room for prayer purposes. The girls' hostel has double-seater and triple-seater rooms. The boys' hostel has single seater rooms as well.

Faculty: It has the standard AKTU curriculum. Discipline is much more than other colleges and attendance is monitored carefully. The faculty team is like any other college. Some are good, some are mediocre and some are really bad. The whole academic calendar is tightly packed with extracurricular and academic activities. There are a lot of academic clubs and activity groups that float different competitions from time to time.
