The NeXT Exam is conducted in two separate segments knows as ‘Steps’ in the online mode. The NExT Step 1 is a theoretical examination consisting of six papers. NExT Step 2 is a Practical / Clinical and Viva Voce examination covering seven clinical subjects or disciplines. The qualifying cutoff marks in NExT Step 1 will be calculated as whole number which will be considered as a Raw Scores with appropriate decimals and subsequently corresponding Percentages. The minimum marks for passing in NeXT are 50% or half of the maximum possible Raw for NExT Step 1.
For 2024, AIIMS Delhi R1 closing cut off was 47 for General category candidates in All India quota for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi. NEET cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
AIIMS has released the BSc (H) Nursing Round 2 seat allotment for AIIMS Delhi admissions 2022 on Oct 12. Failure to select the seat accepting option as below will lead to cancellation of the allocated AIIMS and the deposited amount of INR 1 Lacs (In case of R1 seat allottee) will be forfeited. NEET 2024 was conducted on May 5, 2024, from 2 PM to 5.20 PM (IST). NTA conducted the exam in 571 cities across India and abroad. Around 20 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate to tough. NEET is a paper-pencil based test (PBT) consisting of a total of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Out of this, candidates had to attempt 180 questions. The total marks of the exam is 720.
Aspirants should know the INI CET 2025 pattern, as it gives them an idea of the question paper. They get to know about the exam and make a strategy accordingly. The exam pattern comprises details such as the mode and medium of the exam, the total number of questions and their types, the exam duration, and the marking scheme. AIIMS releases the exam pattern along with the information brochure. The INI CET exam is usually held in November and May in computer-based mode. There will be 200 questions, and the exam duration will be 3 hours.
AIIMS Delhi provides a broad range of BSc, BSc (Hons) and PB BSc Nursing courses to students. The qualification required to pursue different BSc courses at AIIMS Delhi is as follows:
- For BSc Hons Nursing: Students must complete their 12th with minimum 55% with physics, chemistry, english and biology sets. For SC and ST students should score atleast 50%.
- For B.Optometry, Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, BSc. in Dental Operating Room Assistant, BSc in Dental Hygiene and BSc in Operation Theatre Technology: Students must complete their 12th with minimum 55% with physics, chemistry, english and biology sets. For SC and ST students should score atleast 50%.
No, the application fee for AIIMS paramedical courses is non-refundable. Candidates are thus advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for these courses. At the basic registration level, candidates are not urged to make any application fee payment. It is only after the AIIMS accepts the application form submitted at the basic registration level, that candidate need to pay the application fee before proceeding for the final registration.

With a total of 205 seats available for all the BSc Nursing, BSc in Paramedical and PB BSc Nursing available at AIIMS Delhi, the college has reserved 59.5% seats for reserved category candidates from OBC, SC, ST and EWS categories. However, in case suitable candidates are not available from the OBC/ ST and SC categories combined, the vacant seats are filled up by the candidates from the General category.
AIIMS Delhi has a total of 132 MBBS seats. Out of the total, 125 seats are for Indian national and 7 seats for foreign candidates. The admission is based on the NEET entrance exam. Interested candidtes needs to secure high ranks in the NEET exam to be eligible for the admission.
Yes, AIIMS does offer admission to NRI students. However, there is no seat reserved for them. Seats are available across every course offered at AIIMS Delhi and the requirement for admission across all courses is also similar to that of domestic students applying for the course.
- MBBS: There is no seat reserved for OCI and NRI candidates. Foreign candidates must have atleast 60% aggregate with PCB and English in Class 12 or equivalent.
- MSc: The eligibility criteria for the foreign candidates will be at par with the eligibility criteria for Indian candidates.
- MD/ MS/ MCh/ DM: A combined merit list of the sponsored/ foreign candidates is made. Seats are allotted purely on merit on the basis of performance in the entrance test
