Review of Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

Placements: Now in M.Tech, probably most of the students are in the CSE course, and of course, it has some sub-branches. I took a computer network. Most of the students are in this course only. The highest package at Andhra University is 6 LPA, which I know. Top companies like TCS, Google, Amazon, etc. These are the first main companies we all know. Coming to internships, we see only rare conditions. Very few students go to internships.

Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. I really enjoyed this college. Nowadays, there are so many updates at my college. In my days, we had neat classrooms and hostel food. All are very nice and beautiful hostel rooms and canteens. For every one hour, we can go to the canteens and eat anything. We have a break for every one hour. A small medical clinic is available for hostelers in case of any urgent emergency. Sports are in some situations.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful to students. I love their teaching very much. The dean assigned a mentor for every student. So they can easily solve their problems with a mentor's suggestion. They are very much trained and experienced professors. This course is very much related to software companies. They conduct first mid exams, and after lab external and then semester exams. In this order, we cover the entire syllabus. So easily we pass any exam.

Our faculty members are very experienced and good and help every student.

Placements: From the 4th semester, they start to provide students with placement training. Many companies like IBM, Zomato, Bosch, etc., visited the college. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Almost 97% of students get placed. For the engineering computer science branch, the fee structure is about Rs. 2,50,000. For the 21st batch, we have this fee but as batches increase for the 23rd batch, it will be Rs. 3,50,000 per year. It won't increase for the 21 batch.

Infrastructure: Labs are good with a minimum fee structure. Our college fee is low compared to other colleges. The college library has a wide range of book collections including different reference books, textbooks, journals, research papers, previous year question papers, competitive exams books, story books, comics, etc. The college has a digital library with access to different learning sites. It provides well-equipped labs and also projectors for every classroom. There is free Wi-Fi. There are many clubs and groups in the college such as NSS, Together We Can, Street Case, Achievers Club, IIC, CSI, IEEE, GDSC, etc. These clubs are running actively in the college.

Faculty: There are more faculty members for every branch and course. They have knowledge about their subjects. They have a good grip on subjects and teach well. We can clarify any doubt at any time. The college is good. The education system is also good with the proper faculty members and other things.

Other: The college fest named Cursors is conducted in March every year.

It’s a good college. Faculty and infrastructure are best. It is an NAAC A+ grade college.

Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in many companies. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA-15 LPA, the average salary package offered is 5 LPA-6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.36 LPA. Recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Cognizant. Roles offered are associate system engineer, associate software engineer, and junior software developer.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Labs are equipped with Wi-Fi. Library offers loan books, and reading books. Computerized library section is available. Hostel is quite good enough with the required facilities. Each department has an individual canteen. Sports and games initiatives are taken by conducting competitions for students.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, with many holding Ph.D. degrees. Their way of teaching is extraordinary and easy to understand. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are a bit tough, but if we attend the class regularly we can definitely score good marks. Pass percentage is 95%.

Other: I'm interested in networking so I chose this course. The course is designed well but needs more advanced topics like quantum computing. Our college conducts various events across the year, such as campus fests, department days, and cultural events. Government scholarship is available.

I like the teaching by every department's faculty.

Placements: Various job offers were given to students. Companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, Direct, IBM Research lab, OYO Rooms, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Myntra, Samsung Research Lab, TCS Innovation lab, Walmart, TCS, Reliance Industries Ltd, ICICI bank, American Express recruited students at respectable positions. The highest package offered was Rs. 42 Lacs and average salary package offered was Rs. 16-19 Lacs. Students were placed at positions like Application Developed BDA, Computer Operator, Client Serve Systems Manager etc.

Infrastructure: Hostels here are pretty bad and the fee is too much for this. There will be one hostel for only 1st years and another hostel for 2nd,3rd,4th years. There will be no washing machines in both junior and senior hotels. The menu here is boring and coming to taste it is average. I rented a PG near the college it's quite convenient compared to the college hostel, the food here is okay, and monthly I pay 6500 here which saves a lot of money. Hostel Fee is INR 85000 per year.

Faculty: This 2-year course provides students with in-depth knowledge and skills required in the computer Science field. The course areas such as safe and secure systems, system integration, distributed and embedded systems, network, software engineering, system on chip, and digital systems which help to develop problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.

This University is the top education institution in Visakhapatnam.

Placements: So far, 40% of students have been placed in campus interviews. The highest package offered is Rs 8 LPA, the lowest is Rs 3.5 LPA, and the average is Rs 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, Accenture, Ugam Solutions, Hexaware, and many more. 20% of students get internships in small companies. The roles offered in my course are data analyst and software engineer.

Infrastructure: We have a Wi-Fi facility with good internet speed. We have 6 labs, and each lab has Wi-Fi. Printers and scanners are also provided in the labs. There is a server room present which handles all machines present in the 6 labs. Our college also has a library. Our college also has a projector facility for presentations, workshops, and seminars.

Faculty: I am absolutely satisfied with my college. Our placement cell is very good. They always try for better placement and give us the best companies. I chose an information technology course because, nowadays, this is booming.

Other: Our faculty is so caring and knowledgeable. They always try to provide us with the best knowledge. They are supportive. Teaching quality is also good. Our curriculum is quite better because we have the basic knowledge of industries, which is covered in our curriculum. Semester exams are also good. Our passing percentage is 70-80%.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: My branch is M.Tech in Computer network. My year of passing out is 2021. More than 3 lakh package is offered to students doing M.Tech. TCS, Infosys, HCL, and many other companies visit the campus for recruitment. More than 80% of students got internships in TCS, Infosys etc. There are many roles offered.

Infrastructure: The facilities here are very good. The infrastructure is also very good looking. We have everything accessible here - Wi-Fi and everything. The classrooms, labs, library are also good. Everything is available in the hostel also. The quality of food in the hostel is also good.

Faculty: The teachers are extremely talented and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also very good. The course curriculum is also very useful and relevant. The students also are very active in everything. Teachers support us in every single thing we do.

Other: I wanted to do Post graduation so I chose this course. There is a lot to learn and that is the best thing about the course. I would not like to improve anything in my course. We have many events, fests conducted by our management. Teachers encourage us to participate in sports, events also.
