I will be honest and say it depends on the students to choose this college .

Placements: There are approximately 30–35 students in my course. As I am not a graduate, I still don't have any idea. A good number of students got internships from my course at companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Google, and Wipro. The top roles offered surely must be for managers and agents.

Infrastructure: We have air-conditioned classrooms for certain classes, a fully advanced laboratory with all essential equipment, and we also have a library and canteen for students. I currently live with my parents so I do not have much idea about hostels, but they are quite good, I must say.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful sometimes, as per your needs and requirements. The teaching quality is decent. Yes, it is very relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate and not that difficult. If you study for at least 4 hours a day, it will be enough.

Not absolutely but quite satisfied because of the faculty and infrastructure, and good placements.

Placements: There is an average ratio of 8:10 students in our course in total. I don't know about the package because I'm currently studying and haven't got any job offerings but I'm sure that the placements are really good and satisfying. We have both hons and general divisions.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is really good but we don't have a hostel. We have free Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, and a canteen on our campus. As we all know Asutosh Mukherjee College is known as the best college in South Calcutta so they are maintaining the name.

Faculty: We have many departments of B.Sc. General and Hons both many well-qualified teachers are giving their best for the students and this course curriculum are relevant it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams for our course are not too difficult but not too easy.

About Ashutosh College’s B.Sc. course.

Placements: I scored 84.28% in my college and got placed. Almost 75-80% of students were placed that year. In my course, students got packages ranging from 3 LPA to 5 LPA minimum, and the highest package was between 15 to 20 LPA. The average package was around 10 to 12 LPA. Many recruiting companies participated in my course, including Wipro, Mukherjee Management Consultancy M.M.C., Genpact, TCS, and Ranbaxy. Approximately 90% of students got internships in these companies Wipro, M.M.C., Genpact, and TCS. The highest offered role in my course was Meeting Specific Academic.

Infrastructure: There were many facilities available for my course, including labs that were well arranged with air conditioning, a personal library, work areas, locker storage space, and free Wi-Fi facility. My college hostels were very clean, and in case of any accident, there was always a first aid box in the staff room. Many classes and canteen food were also available at cheap prices with decent taste. The workplace was very peaceful, which helped a lot in working or studying.

Faculty: In college, along with teaching, teachers also gave practical examples, which helped in understanding the topic and remembering it. Teachers were very polite with students, which is why I liked the quality of the teachers a lot. This course was taught in a good manner and it also prepared students for the industry. Semesters of this course were tough in Ashutosh College, but placements were also very good, and around 40% of students passed this course in the college.

Other: It was my childhood dream to pursue a B.Sc., and my father also recommended that I do the same, so I took this course. The best thing about it was that I got placed as well.
