The best campus life I swear.
Placements: Around 60-70 percent of students who apply get placed through campus drives. Average package is around 3 LPA-4 LPA while the highest goes around 9 LPA-10 LPA. Recruiting companies like TCS, Deloitte, EY, Wipro, and Axis Bank visit for roles in finance, HR, and marketing. So there is a chance to get placed in such big firms.
Infrastructure: The college has good classrooms, computer labs, and a well-maintained library. Wi-Fi is available in academic areas and the campus has seminar halls and activity spaces. The canteen is decent and the sports facilities are also available for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly experienced and most explain concepts clearly. The curriculum follows Calcutta University and is relevant for commerce and management students. Semester exams are moderate and manageable if you attend classes regularly. Professors make it easier for us to comprehend.
Other: The college also conducts very big fests.

Good infrastructure and faculty members. Absolutely satisfied with the course they provide.
Placements: Placements are not that good unless you have skills. Most students have to create a LinkedIn account or similar profiles to get jobs. The packages usually vary between 2–3 LPA after graduation in B.Sc. Economics. A few internships are available.
Infrastructure: Faculty is very helpful and attentive. They provide extra courses and give personal guidance. The infrastructure is good too. Classrooms, libraries, messes, and sports areas are all connected to Wi-Fi, making things easier. There are plenty of events.
Faculty: Faculty of my course is very attentive, helpful, and highly qualified. There are regular classes with a well-planned and well-designed course structure aligned with the CU curriculum. The semester exams are not very difficult. You just need to put in effort and be consistent.
Other: The events, fests, crowds, and extracurricular activities are top-notch. It is a perfect college for students struggling with time constraints. Since it has no attendance, so we can focus on other courses.

Placements cannot be satisfying but the infrastructure is good.
Placements: For my course, B.Sc. (Hons.) in Economics, has a day section that contains approximately 90 students in a class. Maths is a must to get the course. It depends on our skills, and based on our performance, we will get your packages, and it can go up to 25 LPA. Economics is a vast major in every field, and you can get a job with a good salary. The top roles offered are economics, financial analysis, statistical analysis, bank accountants, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It has AC rooms. Classrooms are clean. Bhawanipur's library is very good, and we will get our books there, and we don't have to buy any. We will get computers in labs, and we do not have to share. The food is good but it is expensive. We will find a sports area too. There are many events in the college, and we can participate in them.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. If we ask anything they'll help us but as it is college not all but many people don't take their studies seriously. BESC is under Calcutta University so exams are taken accordingly. We will have our internals for 30 marks and the externals are for 70 marks. The pass marks are 35.
Other: College is good but it contains many fests which make some students distracted. It depends on students obviously but each day this college has events.

Good placements and infrastructure, vegetarian food, and a crazy college life.
Placements: 36 top-performing students from the science department receive placement assistance from the college every year in MNCs like Wipro. Wipro, in partnership with LaunchEd Global, also runs internship opportunities in the college exclusively for our students. The internship opportunities vary and include data analysis, finance, marketing, business analytics, HR, etc.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are air-conditioned, have smartboards, and projectors. There is a vegetarian cafeteria and an AC sports arena with a variety of indoor games. Outdoor games like badminton and basketball can be played on the college turf. Both the two auditoriums are exceptionally good. There are no hostel facilities, but cheap PGs are available nearby. The college has its library, which has a wide collection of books that can be borrowed both online and offline. Wi-Fi is also available. There is an AC reading area.
Faculty: Teachers are all exceptionally proficient, experienced, and guide us through everything very diligently. The course material is relevant to job requirements, and we learn practical knowledge on software like Excel and Power BI, which adds in getting placement and internship. It makes the students industry-ready. The exams are moderately difficult and pass percentage is high.
Other: I chose Economics as my major because I wanted to learn more about data science, and a substantial part of my course is about statistics and data analysis. The best part about my course in this college is my professors, who are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and will do their best to guide you. College life is amazing, and the events are fantastic. Especially Umang, which is the inter-college fest organized by our college every year. It is a whole brand in itself. More than 50 colleges participate in 100 plus events. There is an event for almost everyone.

Review of Economics Department of BESC.
Placements: The placements take place during one's 3rd year of college. There are big companies that recruit students as freshers. But you must have a good internship and good marks; your relationship with the professor fetches you a better letter of recommendation. The college brings you good internships too.
Infrastructure: There are a good number of classrooms available with 3-4 computer labs. The canteen food is good, but to be noted, it is all vegetarian college. There is the infirmary that assists you in case of medical needs. There is no college hostel or mess, but there are PGs nearby.
Faculty: The faculty is great with in-depth knowledge of the subject. They provide daily life examples for better understanding. The exams are held at regular intervals to keep the students under the examination atmosphere. It is quite easy to pass the semester exams with the professor's guidance.
Other: I would always prefer Bhawanipur Education Society College for Commerce and Economics Courses.

Absolutely dissatisfied by the placement cell but the college has really good infrastructure.
Placements: The placement cell is not that good. There were no internship opportunities during the college session. They do have a placement drive every year where local companies come and recruit. We were not provided with any classes on how to sit on interviews before the placement drive. The interviews were happening haphazardly. It was tough for students to go sit on multiple job interviews. The management was bad, total disaster. People had to sit till 4pm from 9 in the morning to sit on a single interview. Even though I cleared the interview, the job role provided was not good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is quite good. Every classroom has a projector with which the professors teach. The classrooms are air conditioned which was a big help during the summer heat Weaves of last year. The library is quite big and is equipped with almost all the essential books.
Faculty: The faculty of Economics department are excellent. They are quite knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. The semester exams are difficult for this curriculum. Its not that hard to score an 8 CGPA in the course. Almost everyone cleared their semester exams.

Our campus life is very good.
Placements: Students got placed into good reputed companies. Mostly, it provided placements for B.Com students, but the other branches were also given few opportunities. Brands such as ITC, Deloitte, KPMG, etc., visited the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was top-notch, with air-conditioned classrooms and a huge library with a variety of books. The canteen served a huge range of delicacies, and it was mostly like a cafe. There was a sports arena to play multiple sports.
Faculty: The teaching quality was highly commendable. Students were able to gain expertise in subject not only theoretical but also practical. The exams were difficult and required enough hard work to do good. It made students industry-ready.
Other: The yearly fest, Umang, comes with a lot of enthusiasm. At BESC, students enjoy full-fledging the essence of college life with a lot of fun.

Review of BESC - The Bhawanipur Education Society College.
Placements: Our college provides few placement opportunities. They taught us many extra skills which will be helpful in the future. Top recruiting companies are Wipro and Infosys. Some companies visit our college to recruit students. Vacancies are less, so it's difficult to get hired.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best compared to all colleges in Kolkata. The hostel facility is not available in our college. Our college has the best cafeteria. Classrooms are spacious and clean. Parking facility is available in our college. A huge playground is available for cricket, basketball, etc.
Faculty: Our teachers are excellent, but students are hardly interested in attending classes. They are helpful and supportive. Many exams are conducted throughout the semester.
Other: Many events are held in our college. Many celebrities visit our college.
