The beauty of Bhawanipur.

Placements: I think placement-wise, BESC doesn't have a lot to offer because mostly people in The Bhawanipur Education Society focus more on the curriculum, but that does not mean academics are not taken seriously. People are just more inclined toward improving talent, and great artists come out of this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best part about The Bhawanipur Education Society College. Every room is provided with ACs and smart boards. There are 4 big halls for events, and a library that has it all, a sports arena with great indoor games, and a basketball court. The canteen is extremely clean, and everything is very tidy, including restrooms.

Faculty: The faculty is very mindful, and there hasn't been a single class, in my opinion, where the teacher wastes time. Curricula are extremely seriously taken care of, and exams are strictly guided and well managed. The teachers are very helpful in and out of working hours and are really reliable.

Other: Bhawanipur College, I think, is known for its fests and extracurricular activities. Everyone is welcome everywhere, and the crowd is very welcoming. There's a place for everyone, and everyone is very easy to talk to, whether it's faculty or students. There are always events going on, and it's taken very seriously. The principal and teachers in charge take great interest in listening to students' reviews and requests regarding this.

Absolutely satisfied with everything this college has to offer.

Placements: Actually there's little or no placement for UG courses but for PG courses there are good placements.

Infrastructure: The facilities in college are too good. Labs consist of modern equipment and all rooms are air conditioned with good quality food in canteen. Infrastructure of this college is actually awesome. The sports arena is a blessing for all students.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and obviously curriculum is relevant as the college is affiliated to Calcutta University.

Other: It has got the best college fest in Kolkata.

Bhawanipur College is where dreams come true.

Placements: In addition to providing information about job profiles and placements, our career resource centre regularly organises targeted seminars and workshops on developing entrepreneurial, leadership and interviewing skills of students. Furthermore, counsellors are available to speak to students about emerging trends in global and local hiring practices in the field of their choice. So far, BESC has enjoyed an extremely high placement record. The placement cell draws 35 to 40 companies including TCS, Ernst & Young, PWC, Deloitte, Oracle, Axis Bank, KPMG, Indigo to name a few.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is world class with hi-tech equipment and a huge library which is also digitally accessible. The college does not provide hostel facilities, and it also lacks a playground. Classrooms are air-conditioned. Libraries are huge and have a lot of books. Wi-Fi facility is available all over the campus.

Faculty: The majority of our faculty members are either chartered accountants or company secretaries or LLBs. The head of our department is a rank holder and is a very good mentor. Professors are very kind and friendly. They actually go out of their zone to help you.

Other: Events called Sagas Untold, Stories Unfold, Apathy Deceased and Umang Unleashed are conducted in our college. December of 1999 was when the magnitude of expectations from any fest in Kolkata had risen by many notches with the introduction of the first ever Umang. Since then, till date, the most happening fest in town is eagerly awaited. No wonder Umang was voted the 5th Best Fest across Asia in 2009. The buzz of the event arises months before the D-Day. It is an extensive journey of stories, knowledge, hard work and unity. But above all, it a plethora of hope arising everywhere. It marks the end of another year, a sense of accomplishment, and brings with it Nostalgia. That is exactly why, this year in an attempt to bring back the golden days, and carry it down to today's youth. Revive the long lost culture, the teachings, music, memories, everything that makes it worthwhile. With Nostalgia as our theme, BESC is all set to transform the proverb 'old is gold' into a reality. A longing for times gone by on holidays, it's natural to feel a longing for times gone by the childhood spent singing songs or meals spent with loved ones. Recently, scientists have explored the bittersweet feeling of Nostalgia, finding that it serves a positive function, improving mood and possibly mental health. Life is all about having experiences, and memories are our only resort for being connected to those experiences as long as we live. Hence, we preach to embrace Nostalgia.

Review of BESC - The Bhawanipur Education Society College.

Placements: There is an average chance to get good placement. I got placed in Tata Steel Ltd. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Companies like Convergence, Add Ideas, Maruti, etc., visited our campus for placements.

Infrastructure: The college has excellent infrastructure. There are elevators, modern libraries, smart classrooms, modern technology, sports arena, excellent laboratories, etc., available here. Wi-Fi is also available here. Classrooms are fabulous, and the medical facilities are awesome. Sports, like volleyball, table tennis, etc., are available here.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are excellent. Professors are highly qualified, and always be available for you. They are good at everything, and always support you for everything. Libraries are fabulous, and you will find all types of books. They all are very knowledgeable. Overall, they are superb.
