On JEE Main Cutoffs
Q:   What is the cut off for Bharati Vidyapeeth BTech course?
A:

Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering Delhi accepts JEE Main scores, followed by a counselling process for admission to the BTech course. As per the BVCOE JEE Main cutoff 2023, the last round closing ranks for BTech ranged between 53659 and 93312, among which CSE was the most competitive specialisations. During the BVP Delhi cutoff 2022, the last round closing rank for BTech in CSE was 40559 for the General Al quota candidates.

Candidates can refer to the table given below to check out the BVCOE Delhi cutoff 2023 last round closing ranks for all the BTech specialisations.

CourseLast Round (Closing Rank)
B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering53659
B.Tech. in Information Technology60535
B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering74825
B.Tech. in Instrumentation and Control Engineering93312
B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering79920

Q:   How many times can one appear for JEE Mains?
A:

Candidates can appear for a total 6 times in JEE Mains. The number of attempts is calculated from the year of passing class 12. For example, if a candidate have passed class 12 in 2023, he/she can appear in both attempts of 2023 as well of both attempts of JEE Main 2024 and 2025.

If a candidate opts not to appear in the exam in a year/session, that attempt will forfeit. For example if a candidate who passed class 12 in 2023 but did not appear in JEE Mains in 2023, he/she will have four attempts remaining in 2024 and 2025.

As candidates have a plenty of attempts (six), it is advised to prepare well for the exam and then appear in the exam. Appearing in the exam without proper preparation could effect the performance.

Fully satisfied with this college.
Placements: In the 2023-24 placement season, BVCOE hosted over 50 recruiters and placed around 323-345 out of roughly 534 eligible students, achieving approximately a 67-89% placement rate. The median/average salary stands close to 6.5 LPA to 7.8 LPA, with top offers reaching as high as 64 LPA. Major recruiters include Amazon, TCS, Infosys, IBM, Cognizant, ZS Associate, EY, and Adani Group.
Infrastructure: The expensive, well, resource library houses over 46,000 books, hundreds of IEEE and science direct journals, plus a digital library and book bank. Practical learning is supported by labs across all disciplines including electronics, computers, chemistry Matlab, microprocessors, and power systems. Hostel facilities cater to outstation students, with an on-campus girls hostel offering AC rooms in 2 and 3 seater formats. It has mess, purified water, study furniture, and 24X7 CCTV security.
Faculty: Most faculty members are well-qualified (many hold Ph.Ds), knowledgeable, and supportive, with standout professors providing excellent industry-aligned teaching. Student feedback is mixed while many appreciate the approachable teaching style and clear concept delivery, some report variability. Some faculty members are very poor. Even can not speak properly.

Good college life with decent infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Around 80–90% of students get placed. The average package is around 8 LPA. The highest package is 64 LPA, offered by Uber, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies include TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, ZS Associates, Tata 1MG, etc. Most students get internships by the end of the third year by applying off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite decent, with ACs in all classrooms along with projectors. Students can get college Wi-Fi for around Rs. 150 for four years. The library is well-equipped but doesn't have many options for fiction and novel lovers. The college has only a girls' hostel, which is quite average, based on what I’ve heard from my friends. Our college canteen offers a lot of food options in addition to the two mess facilities available. The food quality is good. The medical facilities are also good. Our college has decent facilities for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum isn’t very helpful for students, so we have to make our own efforts to prepare for the industry and our careers. The semester exams are not very difficult, and students can pass even by studying the night before the exam. We need a minimum of 40 marks out of 100 to pass in any subject.
Other: We have to move according to the trend, and the future is comparatively brighter for CSE graduates. That’s why I chose this course. More CS-related courses should be introduced for first-year students. Our college organizes its annual tech fest, BVEST. The campus crowd is quite good, and connectivity is also very good, as the metro station is just outside our college gate.

If students get to choose between BVCOE and BPIT, then go for BVCOE without hesitation.
Placements: Placements are average here. The average package ranges from 6.5-7 LPA. The highest package is 8 LPA. I don't know about this year, but in the previous year, many students got placed with low packages. The highest package is 65 LPA, but that was off-campus from Uber. If we work hard, we will get placed decently.
Infrastructure: The campus is quite small and compact. It gets crowded sometimes, but the good thing is every room has AC and all works. The canteen is quite good, and the food is decent. For sports, I would say it is bad. It has a small ground and they will not give us anything before 4 PM.
Faculty: Faculty members in 1st year are decent but strict. But they will help us. In 1st year, all students have the same old syllabus. We have to study PCM, communication skills, and even EVS. From the 2nd year onwards, we get into the core department with core subjects. I think this is the case with most of the engineering colleges in India.

A college with good infrastructure and curriculum.
Placements: I am in my first year, but hearing from my seniors and being in college, I have seen that Yamaha and TCS are some of the top recruiters in BVCOE for internships and placements. Almost 80% of students got placed. The average salary package offered is 5.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the plus points of this college. It is fully air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi. Students can buy Wi-Fi for Rs. 140 for 4 years. It would be their personal Wi-Fi with their ID and password. Our classrooms have projectors installed for virtual learning and presentations. Also in terms of the hostel, we only have a girls' hostel. There is no boys' hostel is in the premises. There is a huge library which is open till 9 PM. We also have five canteens with very hygienic and yummy food.
Faculty: I would like to say that the curriculum is a bit difficult for BVCOE specifically as this college is strict in comparison to every other IP college. You have to maintain an attendance minimum of 75% otherwise you will be detained. The course curriculum develops your personality and gives you discipline. Semester exams are not very tough. You can pass if you study properly. We have 2 mid-terms and one term exam in each semester. The pass percentage is varied yearly. You need 40 marks out of 100 to pass.
Other: Our college provides a lot of activities going around because of 25 societies which is the largest in number. You will find various technical societies and non-technical societies. They offer you a lot of things in terms of your correct development, confidence, skills, and everything all in one you will find by being a part of any of the society. There are various events and fests. There is a technical fest known as BVEST. We have a sports team. Overall campus life can be joyful.

The college is located in a very good location, having facilities and hangout areas nearby.
Placements: In a batch of 180, a combination of all sections, around 110 students were placed as per college records. The highest package was 64 LPA given by Uber, the lowest by TCS was around 3 LPA, and the average package was 7 LPA. Top recruiters were ZS Associates, Infosys, SaaS Labs, Wipro, and Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available at the minimal cost of 50 INR per year, and labs are fully furnished with all the latest equipment. All classes are air-conditioned and have projectors. The library is well maintained and has a book bank facility for every semester.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified, but yes, they are strict. The teaching quality I would rate as 8/10. The course curriculum is 70% relevant. Semester exams are of moderate to difficult level depending upon the preparation. The passing percentage is 40 out of 100 marks.

The college has a good building and good canteens.
Placements: The average package is around 7 LPA. Many MNCs come to the college. Placements are better than many other colleges. Many of the senior friends got placed although placement could be more better. Rest I will get to know during my placements but better than many other colleges.
Infrastructure: The college has good canteens. There are many canteens. Labs are good. You can purchase Wi-Fi connectivity at a very low cost. There is a decent library. Many sports and games are played in the college and it has many societies including dance and singing once.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly. The passing criteria for the exam is 40% and overall, IPU exams are easier. There are two mid-semester exams with 1 end-of-semester exam. There are 24 marks for the internal mid-semester. B.Tech is a relevant course, and it makes students industry-ready.
