- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech/PhD courses will be conducted from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026, and then from Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.
- The TG EAPCET 2026 exam dates have been announced for admission to BPharma course, which are May 4 and May 5, 2026. For the BE/BTech course, the exam will be conducted from May 9 to May 11, 2026.
- The BITSAT 2026 session 1 application portal is open for BE, BPharma, and MSc courses until Mar 16, 2026,, and the exam will be conducted from Apr 15 to Apr 17, 2026.

BITS Hyderabad Highlights 2025
Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani-Hyderabad campus is one of the premier Technical and Science institutes of higher learning in India that began functioning in 2008. It is commonly known as BITS Hyderabad and is the youngest of the four physical campuses of BITS Pilani. The media reports state that the average and median package offered during BITS Pilani placements in 2024 stood at INR 20.36 LPA and INR 17 LPA, respectively. The media reports state BITS Pilani has achieved 54.35% placements in the semestor 1 of the placement session 2025 across its three Indian campuses (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad). A total of 1700 students registered for the placements, of which 924 secured job offers from reputed companies.
Earlier, BITS Hyderabad achieved a placement rate of 79.56% for First Degree (FD) and 81.01% placements for Higher Degree (HD) courses for 2023-2024.

According to the media reports, BITS Pilani has achieved 54.35% placements in the semestor 1 of the placement session 2025 across its three Indian campuses (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad). BITS Hyderabad cutoff 2024 was released on the basis of BITSAT. The cutoff was released for admission to BE and Integrated MSc specialisations, and BPharm. For BE specialisations, the last round closing scores were between 235 and 298. The toughest specialisation among the General AI category was BE in Computer Science. On the other hand, the easiest course was Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.). For admission to BPharm, the last round closing rank among the General AI category was 161.
BITS Pilani Hyderabad admission is entrance-based. BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus offers four Integrated First Degree, Higher Degree, and PhD programmes. The selection criteria for some of the courses, such as BTech, BSc, M.Tech, etc., require BITSAT entrance exam scores. Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is an entrance exam conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses (BE) at its Pilani campus.
For admission to the PhD course at BITS Hyderabad, the candidate shall be a graduate with 60% aggregate. An applicant shall have adequate proficiency in English as well. The accepted examination for PhD course is UGC NET and CSIR NET.

The Deemed University conducts the BITS Higher Degree Online Test (BITS HD Online Test) usually in August for admission to M.E., and MPharm courses or accepts admission via GATE/ GPAT scores.
