The minimum eligibility is 50% in 12th or equivalent standard and JEECE rank.

But the seats are limited and the candidates with High rank will have the better chance to get it. 

The safe side would be a rank of 1L or less in JEE Main or they can attend the JEECE the state entrance exam of Jharkhand for Engineering. The percentile needed in JEECE are not mentioned.

Candidates are shortlisted for BTech based on JEE Main score. Aspirants applying for BTech have to fill JEECE counselling form. BIT Sindri offers admission to BTech course through Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE). The selection for M.Tech programme is based on GATE score of the aspirants. Besides, the institute conducts a written test/ interview to shortlist aspirants for PhD programmes. Hence, direct admission is not possible at BIT Sindri. Aspirants need to pass selection rounds to get a seat in the institute.
