Really good placements and faculty.

Placements: Around 85-90% of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course was 12 LPA. The average package was around 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Tata Chemicals, Pidilite Industries, etc. Many students also got internship offers.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course were good. Wi-Fi facility was not working on the college campus for students. The library was available with a collection of books. Facilities available in the college hostel were also good. Sports facilities were available in the college.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective fields. The teaching quality of our college faculty members were good. The course curriculum was relevant. The semester examinations were of moderate level. Students worked on many internship projects.

BIT Sindri Chemical Review.

Placements: Placements of my branch are quite impressive. We have one of the best placement offers in our college. About 85-95% of students are placed every year from my branch. The highest package was 16 LPA from Vedanta, the lowest package was 3.3 LPA from TCS Ninja and average package was 7.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Reliance, ABG, L&T, and Tata Steel.

Infrastructure: Departments are in a very old building which I think needs renovation. Wi-Fi facility is also not provided. We have to use our mobile data. Library is very huge and has a vast number of books and resources. It has a digital library, and Wi-Fi support also.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and have good subject knowledge. But they are very strict. Semester exams are not so tough, you can easily pass your semester exams by solving the previous year's questions and important topics. Students can score well just by studying 4-5 days before the exams.

Other: My JEE percentile was less which eventually landed me in a lower branch. But the best thing about this course is it offers very good number of placement opportunities with decent packages (above 5-6 LPA). Many students went to PSUs and IITs from M.Teach through GATE exam from my branch.

The best government college for middle-class families.

Placements: In the Chemical Engineering branch this year, 88% of the total students got placed. In 2023, the average package for the B.Tech in Chemical Engineering program at BIT Sindri was 4.06 LPA. Infrastructure: Each department has dedicated labs with modern equipment for hands-on learning in their respective fields, including computer labs for programming and data analysis. Classrooms are well-ventilated and furnished, with projectors and smart boards to facilitate effective teaching. Wi-Fi is also available in the library.

Faculty: All professors are well-educated, and most have completed their Ph.D. They are helpful to us. But there is a problem, you have to prepare yourself for the industry because they mainly teach us how to score in exams, not how to crack placement offers.

Placements are good in our college.

Placements: The percentage of students who will placed in our course is approximately 80%. The highest package is about 13.5 LPA by Vedanta, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA by TCS Ninja. The average package ranges from 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Our top recruiters are JSW, ABG, Vedanta, Capgemini, and many more. Reliance is giving internships in 3rd year to 5 to 6 students. Our top roles offered in our course are training engineer and assistant manager.

Infrastructure: The facility and infrastructure are very good. Our department is very good and clean. Our labs are fully functional and clean. Wi-Fi is available in our hostels and qualities are very good. The mess food is very good. Medical facilities are also good. Canteen is available here. Sports activity center, club ground, and many more things are available.

Faculty: Our professors are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They cracked JPSC and get into our college. I think doing B.Tech from our college is very relevant for you. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exam is very easy if we read previous year's questions and go to exam to score good marks.

Placements: BIT Sindri offers excellent placement opportunities especially for students in core engineering and IT fields. For students who seek affordable education with promising placement prospects BIT Sindri remains a top choice. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: Each department has its dedicated building with classrooms faculty offices and laboratories. Core branches like mechanical electrical and civil have established and functional labs. Some equipment in these labs is outdated and requires upgrades. Recent efforts have been made to modernize labs with new machinery and computing tools in emerging areas.

Placements: 85-90% of the college students were placed from the last batch. The placement score is good enough that you can expect from a state government college of Jharkhand. Top recruiters of the chemical branch are Hindustan Unilever, Vedanta, Technip, Aditya Birla Group. The lowest package was 4.5 LPA and the highest was 13 LPA. Roles offered are Process Engineers, GET, and Assistant Managers. In total, around 30 students got paid PPIs.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are there, but not all equipment is working. Work is still going on, and there are Wi-Fi connections for all in the department. Hostel facilities are good, cleanliness is there, and food is like what you eat in your daily life. There is a canteen and Nescafé on campus.

Faculty: Professors are helpful and qualified. The course is relevant, and you can directly connect it through industries. Semester exams are not that difficult; just solve previous year papers, and yes, you have to take help from online resources like YouTube or ChatGPT.

Other: Placements are good, especially for girls. Buildings can be improved. Not too many events, but yes, events are held, and the best thing is girls' annual fee is only 32 rupees.

Good infrastructure, facilities, and value for money.

Placements: In the chemical engineering branch this year, 88% of total students get placed. The highest package of my branch was around 13 LPA in chemical. Vedanta was the top recruiting company. More than 70% students got internships in many companies like Tata Steel, JSW, Vedanta, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, and there are all facilities available in the course, for example, labs, libraries, and classrooms. All the facilities in the hostel are also good. Good quality food with the healthy environment of the hostel and friends. They also provide some sports equipment for fun time.

Faculty: Yes, here teachers are helpful and well classified with good teaching quality. Yes, course curriculum is very relevant according to industries. It helps students to shape themselves according to the industries. It is somewhat difficult to pass, but the maximum number of students pass the exams.

Other: There are always ongoing events in college by many clubs, and everyone has many opportunities for scholarships and extracurricular activities too.

Overview and insight of BIT Sindri .

Placements: Placements are good for the core sector in terms of placement ratio, which is 80 percent. For technical things like coding and soft skills, though it's a lower percentage, it's a good CTC compared to core sectors like 55 LPA given by Amazon. Internships are both paid and unpaid.

Infrastructure: Good hostel, and of course, you get enough time for self-study and self-development. I got hostel number ten for my first year in college. On the ground floor there is an issue of electricity. Every hostel in BIT has solar power enabled, but my hostel isn't installed yet.

Faculty: The worst part is that there is no academic calendar and predefined date for the exam; you will only be informed two weeks before the exam. But exams are too easy; you can get an average 80 percent by studying one night before the exam and get good marks by studying one week.
