BITIans are second to none.

Placements: Approximately 75% of students got placed this year. The highest package is 55 LPA and the lowest package is 3.4 LPA. The average package lies between 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Top recuring companies are TCS, Yamaha, and Deloitte. Approximately 80% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: There are laboratories for each section in college. There are separate buildings for every branch. There is no Wi-Fi facility provided in hostel but Wi-Fi is available in labs.

Faculty: There are well-educated and highly professional professors in college. Course curriculum are well-maintained here. The mid semester are held twice in a semester of 10 marks each and there is end semester of 70 marks and 10 marks are given for practical and attendance. Semester exams are in the range of moderate to higher side.

Affordable government college.

Placements: About 75% of students get placed in their respective branches. This year, the highest package offered was 16.5 LPA, the lowest was 5 LPA, and the average salary was 7.57 LPA. Top recruiters include Adani Group, Aditya Birla Group, Capgemini, Career Point, JSW, and ITC. About 80% of students do an internship, and some of them get internships at Google and Tata Power.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at my college is good, but the benches are always dirty. There is no Wi-Fi in the lecture halls, but we do have Wi-Fi in our department. The classrooms are large and in good condition, and our college has a central library with a wide variety of books. The newly constructed hostels are like five-star rooms, with two students per room. The older hostels are also in good condition, with four boys per room. The food quality is quite good, and we have doctors on campus. There is a very large playing field where we can play any game.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful, but they are all well qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching style is good and makes the material understandable. The first year course curriculum is irrelevant, but the curriculum in other years is relevant and will help us find jobs in a variety of industries. The semester exams are sometimes difficult, and some questions are out of syllabus. The pass percentage is 31 out of 100.

Good college for drop year students.

Placements: I am from information technology batch and in my batch, approximately 60 percent of students have been placed every year. The top recruiting companies are L&T, Yamaha, Samsung, etc. The highest package this year is 11 LPA, with an average package of 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: For each branch there is a different building, and for each branch there are well-educated professors, and the quality of teachers is too good, but only because it is a government college. It has some limitations, like a lack of proper management; the library is there but not open 24*7; it is limited.

Faculty: Teachers and there teaching techniques are helpful for exams because they are well educated. Our mining branch is to meaningful in this area because of mining area Dhanbad and have huge requirements in this field. The semester exams are not that tough if you have studied properly.

I am satisfied with my college’s infrastructure, course affordability, and good faculty.

Placements: Approximately 90% students were placed. The highest package offered is 45.5 LPA, the lowest package is 3.3 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies in my course are MNC companies like Samsung, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, etc. Almost 100% students get internship in companies.

Infrastructure: There is limited Wi-Fi connection in labs. The classrooms are equipped with the latest technology. The library is the best. The hostel conditions are average, the canteen and the mess food is good. There are better medical facilities and good sports ground for outdoor games like cricket.

Faculty: The faculty members of this college are very helpful, they are highly qualified and very knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is better than the private colleges. The course is curriculum relevant and it makes the students industry ready. There is little bit difficulty to pass the semesters and the passing percentage is only 35%.

Other: This course is easily affordable for middle class people that’s the main reason to choose this college and the course. There should be better conditions of lab for CS and IT students with advanced technology.

Basic information about BIT, Sindri.

Placements: The placement of Information Technology branch are good. In this branch, approximately 95% students are placed. The highest package offered is 50 Lacs per annum and the average 7 Lacs per annum with a minimum package of 4 Lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of my course are good, not so well, but quite good, they’re average. The hostel does not provide single rooms for 1st and 2nd year students. But the mess is good, you get tasty and the best food according to your mess fee.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and also knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant and also makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are difficult.

Other: In this college, I chose this course because it is famous and there are a lot of opportunities for this course. The thing that I wish be improve about my course is the infrastructure.
