For admission to the PhD course at BITS Hyderabad, the candidate shall be a graduate with 60% aggregate. An applicant shall have adequate proficiency in English as well. The accepted examination for PhD course is UGC NET and CSIR NET.

BITS Pilani Hyderabad admission is entrance-based. BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus offers four Integrated First Degree, Higher Degree, and PhD programmes. BITS Hyderabad OBC category cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the BE specialisations, Integrated MSc specialsiations and BPharm . The last round closing ranks for the OBC category candidates were between the range of 135 and 284. The most difficult specialisation turned out to be in Computer Science. After BE in Computer Science, the toughest specialisation turned out to be BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

BITS Scholarship Endowment Fund is created to provide scholarships to meritorious students with a constrained financial background. The fund aims to create an endowment of INR 2 crore, which shall be invested as a Fixed Deposit and the interest generated shall be used to fund the scholarship.

At present, Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships are awarded to students whose annual family income from all sources is less than INR 8 lakh. The cut-off CGPA for each level is decided every year, however, an approximate number of students receiving the BITS Hyderabad scholarships are mentioned below:

BITS Hyderabad is a private college, while NITs are government run technology institutes. On comparing the tuition fees NIT has low fees INR 5 lakh. The total tuition fee for BE courses at BITS Hyderabad is INR 19.94 lakh. 

Candidates seeking admission shall first check the course-specific eligibility criteria.
