Our institute is one of the best in India.

Placements: Our college has a placement record of 95% every year. The average salary package offered is around 21 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA and sometimes, the salary package offered will be more than 60 LPA. Top recruiting companies for ECE are Qualcomm, Samsung, Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Google Hardware, etc. Our college has a policy of compulsory internships which every student has to complete. There are 2 internship periods by the end of 3rd year. Around 50% of students get internship opportunities with a monthly stipend at top tech companies. Roles offered are design and systems engineers.

Infrastructure: Our campus ranks better in infrastructure. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. We have state-of-the-art labs like AI lab, VLSI lab, etc. New hostels and mess are very modular but older ones are decent and well-maintained. We have a fully air-conditioned library with access to all sorts of books, magazines, and papers. Many classrooms, 4 big lecture theaters with more than 200 seating, 4 small with more than 100 seating capacities, a computer center with 1000 computers, and various small seminar halls are available. We have a sports center for squash, badminton, billiards, chess, carrom, 4 basketball courts, 2 cricket nets, a cricket field, a football field, a volleyball net, a very modular gym, a medical center, and a pharmacy with ambulance service. Every hostel has a common room with a TV and games like table tennis, football, carrom, etc. We have 3 messes and 3 night canteens. The food quality is good. The canteen serves a lot of variety of foods.

Faculty: Many professors have done Ph.D. from renowned universities abroad. They are highly skilled with a lot of teaching experience. The course curriculum is designed to make students industry-ready. Semester exams and grading are a bit difficult so students have to study to score well. The pass percentage is around 80%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in communication systems and electronic circuit design. Our college reputation is more valuable than any other private institution. We have one of the top-ranked fests on our campus like waves cultural fest, Quark, a tech fest, and Spree, a sports fest in which both national and international universities and IITs participate. There are many clubs. Every club has its event each year. The campus crowd is very good as there are no reservations. Seniors are very helpful in every aspect. Our campus is located by the side of the national highway. Goa airport and railway station are 10 km away and all planes pass over our campus while landing in Goa. There is a scheme for merit and merit cum need scholarships for deserving students. Students can benefit from 25-100% scholarships on tuition fees based on merit and family income.

It is a great college with all the basic things needed and good placements.

Placements: Last year approximately 90% of the students got placed. The remaining 10% of the students went abroad for doing MS. No batch of ECE is yet passed from our college, but we hope to get the highest salary package of approximately 40 LPA. The minimum salary package offered is 12-13 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Intel, Qualcomm, Microsoft, Google, etc.

Infrastructure: The whole campus has high-speed Wi-Fi and air-conditioners. Classrooms are big and clean, and labs have every necessary equipment. Our college has a very big library, and all books are available. It also has a small digital library inside it. Hostels have small rooms, but the bathrooms are clean. The mess is clean, but the food is average. The campus has medical facilities. Sports facilities are good, and the campus has a cricket ground, football ground, badminton court, gym, basketball court, squash room and pool room. Table tennis tables are also available in each hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. They take hard papers so that students study more. They are very helpful in projects or doubts. The curriculum is relevant, and our institute also provides 2 off-campus internships so that you can become industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because this course is just below CS and also relatable to IT. Events, fests and all other things are the best. Many activities are organised on the campus by students which I like.

The best decision of my life I didn't chose top 7 IITs chose ECE at BITS Goa.

Placements: About 97% of the students are placed according to my information. The highest package was 39 Lacs. Average CTC is about 19 Lacs. Microsoft, Google and other top companies have offered top roles. With the help of practice schools which is unique in BITS many have got internship at google, amazon, Facebook etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities are excellent. You wouldn't find like this in the whole country. It feels like you are not in India. The mess food is amazing and is like restaurant food. Table tennis carrom chess badminton etc. arrangements have been done inside hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. When coming to electronics the course is very much relevant. It is not that much relevant for CS people. But for electronics, it is the best. The best teachers are available there are stanford graduates who are teaching here.

Other: I wanted to get ECE/CS in top 7 iits. Unfortunately, I couldn't get these branches in top 7 iits. So the next best option was BITS PILANI. The coding culture is just great here. I would wish there would be some more CS electives offered in electronics department. The fest are just amazing. I have attended IIT kharagpur fests and I can say that BITS Goa fests>IIT Kharagpur fests. I mean they are just the best. Bits is famous for extracurricular activities. Although this institute is not that much old, but some of the startups include Postman, MPL, Cred, Swiggy, Codedamn etc. Huge scholarships are also given if you perform good. Also if family income is below 10 Lacs, they are given huge merit cum need scholarship.

I'm absolutely happy with this college and management is wonderful.

Placements: Placements are average and 80% of students got placed still now the process is going on. The placement cell is very active and giving us updates timely for placements and internships are provided to all the students and some of them with a good stipend.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fabulous and it's the quality of the campus. The Wi-Fi is available and you can access it from anywhere in college. The sports grounds and equipments are available and you can issue them from hostels. The library is well disciplined. Hostels are good with all rooms are air conditioned and mess food is so good .

Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified from deemed universities. They are very encouraging and motivating. Also provides us with many industrial tours so that we can introduce to the working of organisations. The course curriculum is modified every year on the basis of current industry demands and makes us industry ready.

General review of my college's placements, infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: 1. ECE is a new stream in our campus and hence the first ECE batch is yet to sit for placements. My batch itself is the second ECE batch in this campus. In the closest batch i.e. EEE 100% of students were placed. 2. The average salary was about 16.5 LPA and the median salary was around 19.1 LPA 3. Students from electrical branches have been placed in companies like NVIDIA, Texas Instruments, Sandisk and even companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Goldman Sachs etc.

Infrastructure: 1. The Lecture theatres and classrooms are okay but sometimes they don't turn on AC. The library is a let down as it's not open 24/7 and during exam time gets very crowded. 2. Hostel infrastructure is pretty good. Second-year onwards everyone gets single room and the food is decent. On 3 days of the week, we get chicken/paneer. There an activity centre with sports facilities, an equipped gym and a large cricket and football ground. There is also a medical centre and a doctor who resides on campus.

Faculty: 1. The teachers are usually knowledgeable and understand their field of study. The teaching assistants are also really helpful and easy to interact with. But the teaching ability is average and the grading is tough. 2. Most are courses have relevant curriculum. In first year though all students have to take the same courses hence even you will have to complete courses such as general chemistry, biology, report writing, C programming etc. In your first year.
