Facilities and placements are very good, and the college is completely worth the money.

Placements: Around 90% of the students who had applied for placements were selected. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 18 LPA. Top recruiting companies are mainly for data science roles, which included Amazon, Flipkart, CVS Health and Data Robot. Almost 60% of the students got internships in companies such as Amazon, Microsoft and Data Robot. The top role offered is SDE-I.

Infrastructure: The library is huge and fully air-conditioned. The whole campus has Wi-Fi, and the classrooms are also large and air-conditioned. Labs are very advanced with all the latest machines and technologies. Hostels are non-air-conditioned and are double seater, but hostels are very good and modern. The food available in the mess is of good quality, but it is not as good as home-made food. There is a large sports center with courts and grounds for almost all types of sports such as cricket, football, badminton, squash, basketball, tennis, etc.

Faculty: All teachers have a minimum qualification of PhD, and most of them are from top foreign universities. They are highly knowledgeable and also very friendly, and they help students with their doubts. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum followed is that of MIT, and some of them are useful in the real-world also. Clubs and departments in our college also make students ready for industry.

Other: I have chosen M.Sc mathematics because I was interested in it from my school days. I was also interested in computer science, but I could not get it with the marks I scored in BITSAT, so I have chosen M.Sc mathematics.

The college is above-average in terms of placements and campus culture.

Placements: More than 90% of the students got placed. CSE has the highest salary offered among all branches. Apart from regular placements, the practice school programme and summer internships also provided plenty of opportunities. Notable IT recruiters include Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Uber, etc.

Infrastructure: Classrooms can accommodate 50-60 students, and lecture theatre can accommodate more than 400 students. Computer centre and library are available. All academic buildings are air-conditioned. Campus-wide Wi-Fi is available with 3 GB per student. Mess and hostel are decent. The student activity centre has plenty of sports facilities for recreation. There is a medical centre with some basic medical facilities.

Faculty: Courses are well-structured, and the overall curriculum is up-to-date. A wide range of elective courses is also offered. All professors are highly qualified in their respective domains with good knowledge of the fundamentals. However, sometimes due to faculty members shortage, professors are forced to take courses outside their specialisation which usually doesn't go well. Such instances are very rare, though, and almost all courses have industry-relevant learning outcomes.

Other: All students are admitted based on merit but not reservations. Institute provides a merit-cum-need scholarship for students who need it based on their annual income. Students life extends well beyond academics. A host of clubs operate on campus for students to pursue their hobbies like music, dance, etc. Many events and college fests are scattered across the year, so students always have something to look forward. The airport is 10 minutes away, and the closest beach is a mere 15 minutes away.
