BMSCE admissions are entirely based on the rank and scores achieved by candidates in the entrance examinations. To get a seat in any of the programmes offered at BMS College of Engineering, candidates must appear for an entrance exam followed by the counselling round conducted by the competent authority. Candidates should appear for either KCET/ COMEDK/ Karnataka PGCET/ GATE/ KMAT/ CMAT or MAT depending upon the programme for which candidates wish to apply for BMS College of Engineering admission.

BMS College of Engineering admissions are entrance based. Candidates who wish to take admission to any of the undergraduate or postgraduate programmes offered at BMS College of Engineering must appear for the entrance examination. The College does not offer direct admission to candidates in any of the programmes. Candidates who wish to take admission to the BE programme must appear for either KCET or COMEDK and admission to the MTech programme at BMSCE is made through GATE or Karnataka PGCET. BMS College MCA admission is made through KMAT or Karnataka PGCET while BMSCE MBA admission is based on CMAT/ MAT/ Karnataka PGCET or KMAT score and percentile achieved by candidates. At the undergraduate level, the college offers three to four-year BE courses. The four-year BE is provided in 18 specialisations such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and others. At the postgraduate level, BMS College of Engineering offers two-year full-time MTech courses to students in 11 specialisations, two-year MBA, and MCA courses to students.

Yes, KEA released the Karnataka PGCET exam schedule on its official website. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) releases the Karnataka PGCET exam dates along with the registration schedule. The dates for admit card download, and result declartion are notified in due course.

KEA conducts the Karnataka PGCET exam for admission to MBA/MCA, and MTech courses offered by colleges in Karnataka. As per the information brochure, candidates can download the answer key within three to four days of the exam date.

Candidates who wish to take admission to the BE programme offered at BMS College of Engineering can also apply through the management quota. Candidates who wish to apply for admission in the BE programme at BMS College of Engineering through management quota must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Electronics or Computer Science and must appear for either KCET or COMEDK.

BTech students are placed in top companies such as Adobe, Accenture, Oracle, Paytm, and others. Students opting for Engineering or the BTech courses are taught a well-designed curriculum that includes the basics of Engineering, a core domain and the development of competencies through the effective usage of Modern Engineering Tools such as process control loops, Multisim, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Xilinx, IAR Embedded Workbench, Code-Composer-Studio, PCB design labs, and others.
