Dissatisfied with the college facilities.
Placements: The highest package offered in CSE is 5 LPA, and none of the students get internships from the college side. Students gain the skills on their own and get internships from outside the college. From the 6th semester, there are special aptitude and GD training sessions.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is so poor. In the labs, not a single PC is working in good condition, and my classroom is like a carpenter shop; at least the blackboard is not in its place. Now, about the hostel, there are good facilities but not all. I will not get a single wardrobe for my clothes, and at the time of rain, there is water in my room on the first floor.
Faculty: For the faculty members, I will give 5 stars, but in terms of industry readiness, I will give it 0 because the college head administrators are not supporting the students and teachers for projects. The faculty members are so helpful and have good knowledge about their subject.
Other: Like as a college campus, this has nothing. The principal only forces the students to attend classes. Like when I am in my 1st year, the competitions are ongoing good, but after the year 2022, it goes the worst. And the worst part from my side is that in the mid of the 3rd year, the college forced the students to buy college dress; otherwise, they will not give you entry, scholarship, etc. There is only a single playing room in the college, which consists of one carrom board and one tennis table.

Placements: If you are going to build a future in an engineering background then you need a degree to become a certified engineer. Calcutta Institute of Technology is one of them. It will be a good choice for you. Around 65-70% of students get placed every year in this course. The highest salary package offered ranges from 8 LPA to 10 LPA. The lowest salary package varies between 2 LPA to 3 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and many startups. Only a few students were selected for internships. Top roles offered are system engineer, data analyst, SQL developer, data engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: In this computer science and engineering course, you will see a lot of subjects and syllabi. A lot of subjects like database management system, encryption technology, operating system, and many more are available. Our college will provide you with good classrooms. The campus provides computer lab facilities, Wi-Fi service, and a central library. The hostel is good but it is not the best for you. If you don't choose, then you can stay in the mess. Our college has a canteen and medical facilities are available to help you. Sports and games happen every day.
Faculty: The course has a lot of faculty members to complete the entire syllabus. They will try to finish your syllabus before the semester exams. Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. The teaching quality is good but few teachers are very good, and a few teachers are average. This course curriculum can make you industry-ready if you read every subject in detail. Semester exams have now become a little bit tougher due to university guidelines. The passing percentage is 90-96%.
Other: If you have a passion for the engineering course, you can choose this. The campus is connective and many activities are happening on this campus.

It is a very good college with all the necessary facilities.
Placements: More than 65% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, the average salary package is 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 2 LPA. There are more than 20 recruiting companies such as Cognizant, TCS, Capgemini, Hero Honda, and many more.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided in our college with average speed. Classrooms are neat and clean. Library consists of more than 1 lakh books that help students. Labs are very good with all the safety measures.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly skilled in their specialisations. They are very friendly and solve doubts several times. Semester exams are hard but it depends on students' preparation.
Other: I chose this course because I love coding.

Review of Calcutta Institute of Technology.
Placements: The placement percentage is good in our college. Many companies visit our college for recruitment. Most of my seniors got placed in different companies. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Jaro, etc., come to the college for recruitment. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA - 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is good. College and hostel has all the basic facilities. College has a library with an ample number of books which gives you books for the whole semester and after that, you have to return it and take new books for the next semester. It has a big grounds for playing different sports.
Faculty: Faculty members at CIT are excellent, well qualified, and knowledgeable. They help you a lot. The course curriculum is designed by the university and it makes students industry-ready. The college takes 4 internals and 2 practical exams before the end sem and most of the students pass the exams.

Somewhat satisfied with the college because of our course faculty and good placements for our course
Placements: 1. 50% placement.
2. The highest package was 4lpa, the lowest was 1.8 LPA and avg was 2 LPA
3. Top recruiting companies : eclerx, persistent, broadsoft
4. Top roles offered : Software engineer

Infrastructure: 1. CIT has proper facilities of laboratories. But most of the computers in labs were not working. Library is there. Classrooms are good but fans are not working. Washrooms were bad. No proper water system waa there.
2. I have not stayed in hostel but from my friends I have heard bad reviews about the hostel. Quality of canteen food was poor. It was very unhygienic. There were no medical facilities Inside the college.
Faculty: 1. My course teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. They invested good amount of time for us to understand the concept.
2. It was relevant but I think the course should get updated with the ongoing computer languages and technology. We studied certain languages that companies don't use now a days.
Other: 1. I wanted to pursue my career in software hence I chose this course. Best thing was that I got the practical approach of the software languages as well.
2. It would have been better if they had added updated computer languages in our course.
3. There was only one event that had happened during my days was freshers. That was the only big event. There were no scope of doing any extra curriculum.

The best college for engineering.
Placements: The placements are good in renowned IT Sectors. The highest salary offered during our campusing time was 7.5 LPA. Others offered 3 lacs per annum as an average. Many renowned companies are coming to a college campus and took maximum students from there. Previous campusing are also good.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, faculty all are good. The classrooms are very good, large, and wide. The labs are very good and had all required equipment for labs. All the facilities are present in the lab. The library is very big and has full of books which are needed for reading. The Wi-Fi facility is good.
Faculty: Good faculty members and well education. Teachers are brilliant, they are always helpful and can clear your doubts very easy. Teaching method was too good. Courses are very good which subject you took all teachers are took good care for your good career.

Best college if knowledge is what you want The CSE department is just awesome
Placements: The placements for the computer science and engineering branch are the best in the college. There are both on-campus and off-campus drives that the students are sent for. Many pool campus drives also take place. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Infosys and Wipro visited the campus last year and will hopefully visit this year too.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure isn't that good and the college lacks in providing basic facilities like clean water to drink and clean toilets. The hostels are satisfactory, though. The hostels for boys and girls are at two different locations for safety purposes and full security is provided to both the hostels. The Wi-Fi service is only present in the college but not in the hostels.
Faculty: The CSE department has got one of the best faculty members. The teachers are very helpful and are always available for any kind of queries. The study materials provided are of very good quality. Almost all the teachers have their M.Tech completed. Labs are the most interesting part of the whole study sessions as all the teachers in this department believe that practicals make us understand the concepts in a far better way.

This college is a scam don't get admitted here
Placements: Placements are very, very poor! Only a fraction of students get to apply for placements. The highest package ever offered since I joined this college was 3 LPA, and the lowest was 1.1 LPA. Some random recruiting companies, but no reputed companies. No internships are offered to the students. Thinking about top roles is a waste of time since even a web developer may not get a decent salary after graduating from this college.
Infrastructure: Basically, zero facilities are present in this college! When you arrive at the main college building, you might be surprised at how this college is even running, as the building is practically in shambles. As a CSE student, I can swear to God that I have never seen a decent computer that works properly, even to write a two-line code. As for the other facilities, they are not even in a condition worth talking about! And Wi-Fi does not work. I was a student who came from a different state and, in the beginning, stayed in the hostel. I can promise you that the food you will get is not even edible for roadside dogs, and you will feel no different from staying in a concentration camp. The college will continuously mentally harass you.
Faculty: The teachers in the college are absolutely not qualified to be even called teachers, as all they do is gossip around. They have failed to cover the syllabus set by the affiliated university every semester since I have enrolled. They absolutely love to spy on your relationships and pin every negligence they have committed on the students. So, basically, you get zero privacy in your college life. Forget about being industry-ready; this college doesn't provide you with any guidance at all.
Other: I chose my course because, like every other student, I too had a natural flair for this subject. But after I got into this college, I was completely led astray. My only wish that would have improved everything about my course is to have never enrolled in this godforsaken college. This is the worst mistake of my life! There are no events like fests, workshops, or bootcamps to speak of.
