A short tale about CFTRI - Its campus, life and lot more.
Placements: It is indeed one of the best food technology colleges. Our batch of 2021-23, M.Sc. in Food Technology, had a great placement with an average package of INR 8–10 lacs. It is great in terms of course curriculum design, and even MNCs visited the campus and even offered internships. So many opportunities to grow are there in this college.
Infrastructure: We have pilot plants for each department, and renowned scientists from around the country teach us. Best in terms of food technology research and an array of departments to specialise in. Smart classrooms with all the specialised technology for food technologists are available.
Faculty: Learning from the top scientists and learning about all the recent developments in the food technology field. Semester exams have been a proper learning experience for that specific subject and have included a lot of thorough study with good PPTs and notes available from the faculty.
Other: Hosted Techbharat, participated in Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and the International Year of Millet. There are many such events and a great campus life.
