A bit cheaper than Chandigarh University.
Placements: Need to mention that Chitkara holds a record of 100% placement. Every student gets placed here. Companies offer anything between 3 LPA and 12 LPA. But you need to study a bit to get placed. Note that a college cannot force a company to recruit students. Companies recruit based on tests and interviews that they conduct. My plans after getting a degree will be to work for the company I've been placed in.
Infrastructure: In terms of books available, there are almost 200 copies of the books that are of regular use. Classrooms are not air-conditioned, but the computer labs are. There is a wide variety of sports in our college, including cricket, basketball, table tennis, badminton, swimming, and many more. There are many clubs also for each activity, like modelling, dance, creativity, etc. There are 3 canteens in our college with a reasonably priced range of items. In short, campus life is really very good in Chitkara.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, they are highly aware of what the students want. They are highly educated and experienced. Talking about the exams. Exams are at an easy-medium level. Just note that everything taught in class will be asked in exams. No topic out of the syllabus will be asked. Exams are quite frequent. We have 3 FA's, 3 ST's, and 1 end-term exam. If you are a below-average student and can spare to study at least 1-1.5 hours a day, you can easily crack all the exams.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: In Chitkara, major companies like Accenture, Infosys, and Wipro visit the college for campus recruitments. It offers free internships with a job offer. It also pays a low stipend as per their policies. Even after the graduation is completed, companies are still being called, and students are getting placed.
Infrastructure: In hostels, the mess food is pretty good. ACs, study tables, and washrooms are provided along with the room. However, the fees for the hostel are pretty high when compared to other colleges. Mess food charges are nominal and at par with others.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, but we should only know what they are supposed to tell us about the course, and not much. Not that students asked for more anyways. One teacher has to teach more than one subject, but as it is related to computers, it all worked out. The course curriculum is good as per career requirements. It includes all practical as well as theoretical work. We get experience with labs in class through laptops. Nowadays, this is a common trend, but in those days, it was useful.
Other: We will always not have the best campus life, but it is okay just because of rules and regulations. The gender ratio is about 50-50. For extracurricular activities, it is the best place. There are different clubs that we can join according to our interests.

Students also asked

Q:   Can I get B.Tech at CIET with 75 percentile in TNEA?
A:

With 75 percentile, you can get some normal courses at CIET. High cut-offs are frequently found in popular fields like computer Science and electronics and communication compared to less popular ones. Lower cut-off scores apply to categories such as SC, ST, and OBC since seats are reserved for them. The total applicant pool and their respective test results may have an impact on the cut-off scores. A factor that also matters is the quantity of seats that CIET has available in your selected branch.

Visit CIET directly to see the cut-off scores for TNEA candidates in your desired branch. Visit the TNEA and CIET websites to obtain this information. Your chances are favourable if your score is higher than or almost as high as the previous year's cutoff for the branch you want.
