COEP Pune BTech Admission & Application Process 2026
COEP, Pune BTech admission is given on the basis of score in entrance exam. While students from Maharashtra are given admission based on scores in MHT-CET, students who are not from Maharashtra are selected based on AIR in JEE (Mains). After entrance exam results are declared, two merit lists are revealed for both categories. Candidates are further evaluated during CAP rounds of COEP, Pune admission. The application fee is INR 1500 for General Category students and INR 1000 for Reserved Category students. An overview of BTech admission process has been shown below:
STEP 1: COEP, Pune BTech Application Process
- Go to MHT-CET's registration portal.
- Click on CET (examination) portal and register on it.
- Login and fill your details as asked on registration form.
- Attach copies of all documents.
- Pay registration fees.

STEP 2: CAP Round Registration

STEP 3: Selection Rounds

Beyond academics, COEP is also seen as offering a richer campus and college life experience. VIT Pune is still considered a solid private option, especially for students who don't get into COEP. Ultimately, both are respected names in Pune's engineering circuit.
