Our college has very good placements in 2024 and infrastructure is also good.
Placements: Our college has 100% with the highest package. In academic year 2023-24, the highest package is upto 70 LPA. Companies visits like Amazon, Google, TCS, and many more. CSE branch has more placements than ENTC branch have more placements with the highest package.
Infrastructure: In our college, labs, classrooms, and library have good structure. The seating arrangement is also very good. We have good internet access Wi-Fi is available 24 hours. College hostels are out of campus but hostel facilities are very nice. Their mess has good quality food.
Faculty: Our college faculty members are best. They teach us very nicely and give the best guidance. In our college, exams are conducted very strictly. If you want to stay in COEP then you have only one option and that is to study. Mid-semester exam is for 30 marks and end semester exam is for 50 marks.
Other: I have seen civil engineering at COEP has good placements. So, I chose COEP.

Review of College of Engineering, Pune.
Placements: I am in my first year. But still, I quite have an idea of how the placement works here. The average package is 700,000, the highest is 3700000, and the lowest is 300,000. Big companies like Byju's and Akash Institute come for recruitment. 80% of students have gotten internships till now.
Infrastructure: A huge campus is there. Cleanliness is there; every other book related to study is available in the library, but there should be books other than studies too. Being a reader, I felt that. Labs have almost every piece of apparatus and equipment that is needed. Classrooms are clean. Wi-Fi is available in the college but not at great range in hostels. Hostels are clean and neat. Mess food is okay. There is a gym and a doctor in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are greatly qualified and well known. Some professors teach with heart but some make me question whether it is worth coming here or not. Academics are good but not the best; they should work on it. They need to have 3 different exams in one single semester.
Other: Suddenly, they increased their fees. How is it supposed to be a government college, then? There are almost more than 50 clubs, which cover every category like tech fests, start-ups, sports, water sports, racing cars, and cultural things.

Our college has a good environment and faculty members.
Placements: I took the civil branch, and not many private jobs were available. But if one is able to get placed, then it is great. The salary package offered is 12 LPA. Some recruiters like DLF, Larsen & Toubro, and Reliance visit the college for placements. If the performance in the college is good, then it is likely that one will handle placement.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi coverage is great but not the strength. Labs are pretty well maintained, and all the necessary equipment is available and working. The library also offers a good area for studying. Mess for the first and second years is great. There is an annual gathering and sports fest.
Faculty: Teachers are top-notch. I am a northeastern student, so I have a problem when they start speaking Marathi, but when addressed, they try their best to not speak in a foreign language to us. They are very friendly too. Semester exams are of medium difficult level.

Maharashtra's top college for core placement is also renowned for its civil engineering department.
Placements: Many students in our batch have experienced the challenges of studying during the COVID-19 pandemic and attending online lectures for the past two years. As a result, it was a difficult task to ensure that every student was prepared for the industry. However, the training and placement cell at COEP College took proactive measures by providing training and coaching sessions for interviews, group discussions, and technical rounds starting in the 5th semester. Additionally, the college arranged reputed and rigorous internships for each student, which required weekly reporting. As a result of these efforts, 80% of the civil engineering batch successfully secured placements. The remaining students who were not interested in placements opted to join companies such as L&T, IRB, Godrej, Shapoorji Palanji, Tata Infra, and JCB, which came for core placements and offered salary packages ranging from 8 LPA to 14 LPA.
Infrastructure: In my opinion, this college has offered top-notch facilities to each department. The laboratories are equipped with precise, well-maintained, and digital instruments that are constantly monitored, enhancing students' practical knowledge. The classrooms resemble auditoriums, and the library houses a wide range of reference books, accessible to students without any limitations.
Faculty: Teachers are highly skilled and qualified, with backgrounds in MPSC and holding Ph.D. degrees. They possess both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the industry. They also encourage students to pursue M.Tech. programs at foreign universities. However, in certain cases, we must abide by their decisions due to the autonomy of the college, which may result in the failure of specific students if the teachers do not favor them. Students who come from a strong educational background, such as those who excel in Polytechnic Diploma or are MH-CET toppers, have a higher success rate. To make the curriculum more industry-oriented, it would be beneficial to include practical subjects like software applications such as STAAD Pro, CAD, Revit, etc.
Other: My decision to pursue this course is driven by my desire to work on infrastructure projects within this country. It is a personal choice that I have made based on the reputation of this college. Additionally, I aim to enhance the course curriculum by incorporating software subjects into civil engineering, as I believe it will greatly benefit my future career prospects. The college also organizes various events and festivals, which further contribute to its esteemed reputation.

It is a really great college with facilities.
Placements: The college offers strong placements for civil engineering students. Top companies like L&T, Godrej, and Tata Projects hire students regularly. Average packages are good. Many students also get summer internships at reputed firms, which help in skill development.
Infrastructure: The college has modern labs for structure, geotech, and transportation engineering. Classrooms are smart and libraries are well-stocked. Hostels are Wi-Fi-enabled, neat, and safe, with good mess facilities. Sports grounds and gyms are also available on campus.
Faculty: In the college, the civil department has highly qualified and experienced faculty members who focus on both theory and practical knowledge. The course curriculum matches industry standards. Exams are concept and application-based, moderately tough, and encourage deep technical understanding.
Other: I chose this college because it is a great college. If students want to join college or succeed in life, then this college is the best for them.
