Satisfied with placements but other facilities are poor.

Placements: At CTAE College in the mining branch, the placements are 100%. The average salary is 12 LPA. In this branch, there are only 20 to 25 students per year. This year 5 students got placed in Vedanta at 13 LPA and many students also will selected in some time.

Infrastructure: I give 4 stars for course and -1 star for the hostel. Department has many facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, library, seminar hall, parking, a big ground. The quality of the facilities is very poor in our college. There is no hygiene in mess food and no medical services.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach us very well. They study only our industry work and they give us many knowledge. Semester exams are quite difficult but if you study you can easily score. Pass percentage is 40%.

CTAE Udaipur - The good college for the people who don't get IITs.

Placements: Our senior batch got almost 100 percent placement. Our college is best for the Mining Engineering branch, and it is the top branch of our college. Top recruiting companies like Vedanta, Tata, and cement companies like Udaipur Cement, Wonder Cement, etc., also visit.

Infrastructure: Talking about facilities, our college has a good facility of a well-equipped library with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, proper sitting facility, and full availability of newer books. Classrooms are average. Hostel food is fair, and the condition of hostel rooms is fair for the 1st and 2nd years; after the 2nd year, from the 3rd year, you get good rooms.

Faculty: Teachers are all well-qualified and fully knowledgeable. They are highly qualified from good institutions like IITs. The teaching quality is excellent. Talking about the Mining Engineering course, the course is very relevant from the point of view of industry requirements. The difficulty of semester exams is moderate. The pass percentage in exams is 40 percent.

This college provides excellent placements in mining industry.

Placements: Placements of mining engineering are almost 100% each year. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA, given by Vedanta Group. Out of 25 students, 12-15 students are placed in this package. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4.2 LPA by cement companies.

Infrastructure: There is a library with a Wi-Fi facility and a large number of books. Wi-Fi is available in hostels but not in departments. Different labs are provided as required for the subject. Mess is average, canteen is okay, and there are facilities for different sports, both indoor and outdoor.

Faculty: All teachers are qualified and have great experience in teaching as well as industry knowledge. Syllabus is relevant to make students industry-ready, there are training sessions and seminars at our college and in different companies. Exam pattern is good, and passing is not a tough task.

Other: I chose mining engineering because it is one of the best colleges to study mining engineering. Placements are excellent, and the location of the college is very nice. Udaipur is a great city to be in. I love the fest and events organised, but they don't. Campus crowd is good, but the girls-to-boys ratio is poor, especially in mining engineering. Connectivity of the college is very good. College also provides many scholarships. There are not many extracurricular activities.

It is the best college for doing mining courses.

Placements: The placement percentage of our college is 100%. Our college provides good placements. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Almost 100% of students got placed in our college. Top roles offered are mining engineer, mining manager, etc. Almost all students got 2 months of internships including one visit to the mine. Top recruiting companies are Vedanta, Wonder Cement, JK Cement, and Adani Enterprises.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Currently, our college is under construction. Our college provides us with all facilities. Wi-Fi facility is available in all departments. The library, labs, and classrooms are good. The food served in the mess is average. The hostel rooms are average. They serve food on time. The hostel wardens are strict. They maintain rules.

Faculty: All teachers and professors are well-qualified. The teaching quality is good. Exams are conducted on time. Almost all students pass the exams in our college. The course curriculum is relevant because this area is filled with mines.

Other: I opted for this course because it is a core branch. The parking area for students is currently in progress. Many events and fests are held in our college. A scholarship facility is available in our college.

Placements: Above 6 CGPA students get placed in my course. The highest package is 16 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA. The average package is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Vedanta, JK Cement, and Shree Cement. All students get internships after the second and third year in companies like Tata, SCCL, MCL, SECL, etc. Roles like mine engineer and office work are offered to students.

Infrastructure: In my department, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, and seminar halls are available. The hostel is average. The food quality is normal to eat, not bad, and not good. In the college, 10 hostels are available, i.e., 2 girls and 8 boys. The hostel food is contract-based.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable to students. Their teaching quality is the best. The course curriculum is relevant, and after placements, students become ready for the industry. Semester exams are average. The pass CGPA for the 1st year is 4, and for the 2nd year, it is 4.5 CGPA. For the 3rd year, it is 4.75, and for the 4th year, it is 5 CGPA.

Other: I chose this course because the mining engineering course is the best in this college. It is the best course. Till now, some events have been organised. The campus surroundings are the best. Scholarships are available for every category.
