Campus placements are not offered in our department as the college is new, However, we hope that the number of placements will increase as the college gets some reputation.

Overall, the college experience is good, just like in other colleges.
Placements: On average, 70-85% of students from our course get placed every year through campus recruitment drives. The highest package is around 8-12 LPA, the average package is typically 4-6 LPA, and the lowest package is around 2-4 LPA. They also provide internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: We have the required facilities available in our college, such as labs, classrooms, library, gymkhana, canteen, etc. The hostel food quality is good. There are no medical facilities available on campus, but you can avail of the hospital very nearby. Additionally, every sport is happening in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and highly qualified. Most of them are graduates from very reputed institutions. The course curriculum is not industry-ready. Our course provides us with all the theoretical knowledge. Almost all the students pass, so the pass percentage is nearly 100%.
Other: The best thing about the course is that I can avail both IT jobs and core department jobs. The college organizes a grand fest every year. It also provides scholarships to students in need.

    Better for studying.
Placements: Almost 60% of students get placed every year, and it's mostly off-campus. The highest package is nearly 12 LPA. Many students opt for higher studies instead of placements to secure better positions and higher packages. In our branch, ECE, this is common. The average package is around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Aditya Birla, among others. About 90% of students get internships, mostly in NITs and big colleges, especially in ECE.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the college doesn't allocate funds easily. We have properly functioning labs, and the classrooms are large and clean. You won’t get a mobile signal inside the building, but Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus with a constant speed of 30-50 Mbps. Boys don't get a hostel in the 1st and 2nd years, but girls do. The canteen is clean, less hazy, and cheaper than outside shops. Medical facilities are also good, and we are very active in sports.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The curriculum is relevant and up-to-date, and it makes us industry-ready. The semester exams are a bit difficult but not impossible. You have to study hard to top them, though you can pass by studying for 3 days for each subject.
Other: I was interested in electronics from my childhood, which is why I chose it. The best thing about my subject is the practical and real-life examples. No improvements are needed till now. Yes, we organize events of every type, both cultural and technical, and participation is also very high. The campus is on the bank of a river, offering a wonderful view. You can get a scholarship of up to 2 lakhs in the curriculum. Every type of extracurricular activity is also available.

Cooch Behar Government Engineering College- A detailed review of B.Tech EE.
Placements: About 41% of students are placed from the EE course through on-campus placement. Some others opt for higher studies. The highest package is 7.36 LPA and the lowest package is 3.36 LPA for the EE batch. Top recruiting companies are Larsen & Toubro, Pinnacle Infotech, TCS, Cognizant, and others. Students of the EE department grab internships at N. F. Railway, Durgapur Steel Plant, Multidisciplinary Zonal Railway Training Institute KGP, WBSEDCL Dinhata, Circuit House Cooch Behar, HVDC Power Grid Alipur, Jadavpur University, etc. Top roles are Graduate Engineer Trainee and opportunities within the IT and power industries.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available everywhere. Classrooms are big and clean and the study environment is good. Almost 70 students can easily sit in the room. The library is really very good. All required course books are present. There is a big playground in the college. Mess and canteen food are really very good.
Faculty: Teachers of the college are really good. They help us in all academic needs. Their teaching quality is very good. One can easily understand and score well in exams by attending regular classes with dedication. The course curriculum is relevant to current industries' needs. The semester exams are good and easy if the student studies properly with dedication and discipline.
Other: Events and fests are really full of fun activities. There are many technical and innovative events organized in the college every year.

Totally satisfied because of the total infrastructure of this college and teaching quality.
Placements: In this college, 75% of students are placed in different companies in Coochbehar Government Engineering College. L&T is the mass recruiter company. Students from mechanical engineering department get more placements in this company. The highest package in this college is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Graduate engineer trainee is the top role offered at Coochbehar Government Engineering College. 80-85% of students get the chance to do internships in several companies.
Infrastructure: Coochbehar Government Engineering College is located in Coochbehar West Bengal, beside Torsha river. We have very fresh weather there. Facilities are available in this college including Wi-Fi, laboratory, smart classrooms, and library. Everything is available. If I talk about the hostel, it is very clean, comfortable, and hygienic. The food in hostel is very tasty and hygienic.
Faculty: In this college, faculty members are very much qualified. Maximum teachers are Ph.D. qualified. They have very good teaching skills. Every teacher has very good knowledge in every area. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in this college. 45% is the passing percentage.

Dissatisfied with placement. Our college is the worst.
Placements: I am currently in ECE 2nd year of CGEC. About 35% of students got placed. The highest package is 6.9 LPA from L&T, and the lowest is 3.25 LPA. Most of the students get the role of associate trainee engineer. Some of the best students have M.Tech at the top IITs through GATE.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available 24X7. Classrooms are quite good. Students get free book from library for study. Canteen and hostel are both available. But only for the girls and 3-4th year boys students. Hostel and mess provide food to the hostelers which is quite good.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The departmental teachers are so much helpful. If students follow the teacher's notes, they can easily score quite well. About 70-80% of the students pass in each subject but it depends on the difficulty level of the subject.
Other: The best thing about ECE is its lab projects which are very much. Teachers are ready to discuss any type of new idea that students bring.

    A journey of bachelors degree.
Placements: More than 80% had the highest package around 7 LPA, the lowest package was 2.5 LPA, and the average package was 3 LPA. Top recruits are like Technext and etc. Every student will get an internship off campus. The top roll was Site Engineer. Overall, if you are skilled, then you will get a job.
Infrastructure: There are enough facilities for a tier 3 college. Each department has its own labs. The classroom and the library will fulfill your most needed books, and also books under the curriculum. A hostel is not provided for 1st -3rd year boys, but some financially unstable students can get it, though it's not for all. The canteen is there. Food quantity is Average. Other facilities are also there.
Faculty: Our department teachers are more than enough, helpful and qualified, and knowledgeable. The course is curriculum-relevant. The semester exam is difficult for those who don't study. I have some friends who pass easily with at least one month of preparation. So it's not that difficult.
    Other: Because I love electronics.
