My college is value for money.
Placements: The placement cell of our college was established in 2022. It is pretty new but did great work in giving placements and internship opportunities to the students. The placement cell does not only focus on placements but also provides a platform to budding entrepreneurs by starting different events like start-up Manthan. The lowest salary package offered ranges from 1-2 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA by Oil India. The top recruiting companies like Oil India, Marico, etc., visit the college to hire students. The top roles offered are senior assistant, manager, product manager, relation manager in ICICI Bank, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and faculty members are quite good and spacious, especially for my department. The library too is very big, and the reading areas remain open till 10 PM. There are a variety of resources available for students that they can borrow anytime. But the infrastructure of hostels needs a good renovation and care. The food in the canteen is average but quite affordable. There used to be no medical facilities but recently therapy and medical facilities were added. There is an indoor stadium for sports and games including an in-house gym which does need some care.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and helpful. They are highly experienced and qualified from renowned institutions. The course curriculum is relevant and up to date. Semester exams are hard and faculty members do strict checking of papers due to which students score less.

Cotton University: Good and Bad.
Placements: We do get internships in certain Universities and companies through our resumes and we also have a placements cell which provides various internships and placement opportunities, but direct placements are generally not available after a Bachelor course, we have to do our Masters for good opportunities.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the department is good. We have got Wi-Fi across the campus, along with a departmental library as well as general library which had all the resources available. We have almost 3/4 labs arranged according to the needs. The conditions of the hostels are not so good as they have become old, but the hostels are being renovated slowly to accommodate better facilities and food habits.
Faculty: The teaching quality here is top notch. The department is filled with top quality teachers from various esteemed institutions who are more than qualified enough to teach us. They are helpful and supportive in nature. The course curriculum is relevant and the practical and theoretical aspects taught in the class make us industry ready. The difficulty of the semester exams vary. They are generally middle level papers which everyone can attempt and score well with adequate knowledge.

Our college has good teachers, but placements are not good.
Placements: Placements are not good in our college. Interactive sessions are held. Internships are available.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. The campus has lush greenery. Wi-Fi is available 24X7. We have clean and comfortable classrooms. There are four labs. There is one central library and one departmental library. Many books are available in the library. Hostel facilities are good.
Faculty: Our college has experienced and knowledgeable teachers. The teaching quality is good. The course is followed according to the latest national CBCS curriculum. Semester exams are held regularly. Exams are average.

Review of Cotton University.
Placements: The placement records are not very satisfactory, but some of our alumni got placements in ISRO, Dhaba Atomic Research Centre, and many MNCs. Most of our seniors got placements in oil companies and various chemical fields. At the end of the course, almost 80% of students get internships in various local and international companies. The top role offered in our course is scientist at many foreign research projects and Dhaba Atomic Research Centre.
Infrastructure: There is a lot of improvement needed based on the infrastructure of our university. There is always a lack of modern lab equipment, Wi-Fi facilities, and smart classrooms. The library is quite satisfactory. The hostel provides very good quality food despite having a very low monthly fee, but the food available in the canteen is not so good. There is a medical store on the campus, but it is not very active. The lack of playgrounds is always a major problem for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful. They try to guide us in every possible way. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is always relevant to our careers. I would highly recommend this university for its teaching. Semester exams are quite difficult. If you regularly attend the classes, it is not going to be tough. The pass percentage is more than 90.
Other: There is still a need for some improvements, like playgrounds.

I am dissatisfied with the infrastructure, lack of playgrounds, and lack of Wi-Fi facilities.
Placements: The placement rate is very low, but there is a high rate of placements from students doing master's. Many of our seniors have got placements in top companies like Oil India Limited as chemists. Some of the alumni have even got placements in ISRO, Dhaba Atomic Research Centre, and also many foreign companies for research purposes.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and lab facilities are quite satisfactory, but as a university, there is always a need for a close campus. Lab equipments are lower than average in some departments. Hostel facilities are satisfactory, but there are very few seats available in hostels. The mess food is very good. There are no playgrounds. There are medical facilities on campus but not very active. Students have to search for doctors every day.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They guide students in every possible way. Semester exams are quite hard. If you regularly attend classes, you might not face any difficulties in scoring well on exams. The pass percentage is above 90%.
Other: The best thing about our course is that teachers are very helpful. They help the students in every possible way they can to get them better placements in the future. Improvements needed are lab equipment, Wi-Fi facilities, a smart classroom, innovative programs for skill enhancement, etc.

It is a very good university. It provides best teachers and infrastructure is also good.
Placements: Since it is not a technical college or university so students cannot expect placements. But our university has placements cell which organises various programs for the better future of the students. They invite people from abroad and from various top institutes around the country to deliver talks and interact with students. However, our placements cell is now trying to recruit students. Our university will place students and invite companies for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good. Students have practical laboratories for different branches of chemistry. It also has a library in our department itself. The classrooms are well-equipped, and there is a seminar room with all modern amenities. There is a Wi-Fi facility, but I am not aware of it. The course follows the CBCS curriculum. The hostel facilities are good. The food served in the hostel is good. The mess fee structure is around Rs 1,500 - Rs 2,000 per month.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified and they are very friendly. Many of them have done their Ph.D. or post-Ph.D. abroad from higher institutions like IITs and IISERs. The course curriculum is good. Students have 6 end-final semester exams in total and mid-terms in between the semester.
Other: The campus life is excellent. Students will find events every other day. Sudermerson hall and KBR hall are always filled with a bunch of students busy with extracurricular activities. Our student union also arranges various workshops very often. The most interesting part is Varsity week, students will enjoy every bit of this university life. Students can take part in various singing, dancing, drama, and sports competition. Some events are also held department and hostel-wise. Students can take part in folk dance, modern dance, jeng bihu, and a lot more others. Various games are also held during this time. Freshers and farewells are also celebrated, and students will enjoy every bit of it.

Overall it is good, and facilities are available, but till now there is no placement.
Placements: About 85% of students are placed in our course. There are no salary packages till now, but authorities are working on it. About 20-30% of students got internships but not from companies, instead doing in different universities. There is no role offered in our course for students.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is good including 5-6 labs for different batches, a library, classrooms, seminar room, hall, garden, etc. But there is no Wi-Fi. I didn't stay at the hostel but the food quality is good, including the mess and canteen. Union bodies are working on medical facility-related issues. Sports and games were organised annually along with cultural events.
Faculty: Overall teachers and professors are good and highly qualified. The course is not making students industrial-ready at all. Semester exams are good, sometimes students get unsatisfied marks or percentages but it's good. The pass percentage is 85-95% for students to get a pass.
Other: I chose this course as I am interested in exploring the field of chemistry. Things that would be better or improved is to teach students the applications of the course. All the other activities like events, campus crowd, etc., are held properly.

College life is to enjoy and study at the same time, Cotton University provides the best of it.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is newly active and so far it has offered amazing offers to some meritorious students. They have always provided financial and good educational support to economically weak students. Internships are provided in the department itself to the interested students.
Infrastructure: Departmental Wi-Fi is not provided to all. The functioning of the lab is not proper as it should have been. Hostel infrastructure is not so good but new hostels will soon be allocated to the students. The quality of the food is average. Medical facilities are provided though many students are not aware of them. The sports and games area goes well as we have our indoor stadium but outdoor activities create trouble due to lack of field.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable. But as the semester does not even go for six months, we hardly get time to learn something from the syllabus. Laboratory instructions are properly given. The syllabus of B.Sc. is quite good as compared to other colleges in Assam and the exam pattern is also good.
Other: Chemistry is one of the best subjects of science where we get to learn about the life, chemicals, and their connection in a broad way.
