Placements: Many students opt for higher education, and few students apply for jobs in this course. The average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Students got placed in Biotech and pharma companies like Lupin, Serum Institute of India, etc. If you are a materialistic person, do not opt for this sector because, in India, the biotech and pharma companies are 75 years behind compared to the USA. IT companies are more in demand because this course is for only 5-10 years compared to foreign countries.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are well maintained. Laboratory is also very good. We also have research centers like Microbial Diversity and Research Centre and Cancer Research and Translational Lab where students can join as student trainees during summers. We have a digital library. We also have an offline library, and reading hall is available on our campus. The boy's hostel is under construction, and the girls' hostel is decent. We also have a gym facility.

Faculty: All faculty members are very good and highly qualified. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. It includes subjects like quality control management, business communication skills, and entrepreneurship skill development. Semester exams are not difficult.

Other: If you are interested in research and development, I recommend joining this college. This course is very interesting, and students are highly satisfied with this course.

Review of Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth.

Placements: Roles like biotechnologist, QC department of food or drug companies, forensic science, a biomedical engineer and molecular biologist are offered to the students. Almost every student get placed in good institutions or companies. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered ranges between 1.5-2 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college provides smart classrooms with smart boards in each classroom. The library is available with an isolated room as well as the open room. Our college also provides a computer room where we can browse or access the internet for study purpose. There is a cafeteria, which serves delicious food for students. Labs are fully equipped, which helps students to gain as much knowledge as they want.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly qualified and very friendly. They help students in all circumstances. Our course aims to make student thorough in basics of biotechnology which helps them to choose any field related to biotech in future.

It is the best college to take admission.

Placements: In our college, placements are average with the salary package ranging from 4.5 LPA to 5 LPA. Many companies recruit many students from here, and there were best placements until now. Placement officers help in every possible way they can. You get an average salary package of approximately 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: Volleyball court, football court, basketball court, gym, badminton court, lawn, cafeteria and shops are available in our college. Our college provides canteen services, hostel facility and well-equipped labs and classrooms. The infrastructure is the best, and every classroom has an online teaching facility.

Faculty: Our college has the best faculty members I have seen ever. They are cooperative, helpful and help in any possible way. The course curriculum is excellent, very useful and helps to gain knowledge in every diverse field like B.Pharma, clinical, biomedical device, nanotechnology and proteomics.

One of the best college because of the practical knowledge it provides.

Placements: Almost all the students got placed after completion of the course in some laboratory or industry. REASEARCH, marketing, quality control like various roles offered in my course. Medtronics is one of the major recruiting company which recruit students at very high number with effective annual package.

Infrastructure: Hostel is available on 2 and 3 sharing basis. Campus has all the facilities like cafeteria, mess Wi-Fi, sports grounds and medical facilities. Library is very huge and fully equipped with computers and books. There is computer lab with all the software and online books you need which are pre-installed in them.

Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful. You contact whenever you want they never deny to help a student. The course and the subjects organised is also very good and maintained. If you are dedicated and ready to learn and take challenges then this college curriculum is best.

Other: I want to become an Bioinformatician that's why I chose this course and it also provides me the post graduate degree. There is always an annual fest organised by the students to learn management about things and there ia inter college competition also.

It is the best college for biotechnology.

Placements: Placements at the college are the best as they have set up a placement cell committee. It also includes some of the senior students who guide students from time to time. Each department head also guides you about the future aspects of the subject.

Infrastructure: The college has one of the best infrastructures in Pune. There is proper cleanliness. The college provides a Wi-Fi facility. The college has the best library where we can study till evening. There are the best basketball and football courts. Classrooms are equipped with digital equipment for better understanding. I would rate 5 stars out of 5 for the infrastructure.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are PhD holders. Some of them are having more specialisation in the subject. Every faculty teaches very well, and they pay attention to each student. The course curriculum for all courses at the college is the best. There are digital classrooms used for teaching. The college has the best committee. The college needs here is proper studies with discipline.

Other: Many events are conducted at the college. Induction programme and events for 1st-year students are conducted here. Seminars from people like Shri Anand Mahindra Sir are also organised. Each Saturday, guest lectures are conducted. All extracurricular activities are organised here.

Medical engineering is set to revolutionise the future.

Placements: Good placement opportunities are provided in various industries and institutes. The college has collaboration with various national and international companies. A placement cell is set up for making decisions related to placements. Companies like Rise and Shine, CCMB, IASST, etc., provide internships which add on to this institute.

Infrastructure: The college has great infrastructure. Good safety measures are taken. Well-equipped laboratories are available to carry out various experiments easily. Each classroom can accomodate around 90 students. Classrooms have a projector. Biometric attendance is followed.

Faculty: The college has well-qualified professors who provide a lot of knowledge to the students. Projects and research expertise give hands-on experience to the students. Faculty members are available all the time to clear the doubts of students and guide them. There is an extensive course curriculum set to do justice to the multidisciplinary field giving a wide range of career options to the students.

Other: An annual fest called Cytosoul is celebrated in March every year. Inter-college competitions are also conducted.

The college is great with average faculty .

Placements: The placement is average 40%-50% students get placement, it? S not that great but atleast there is some placement as compared to other colleges the salaries are average not that high, average salaries range up to 50000-60000 per month who grounds up 6-7 Lacs per year.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are great, they have good laboratories and the library has a lot of useful books, I don? T live in college? S hostel but from what my friends have told me it? S good, the food is great in the hostel and in the college mess, the hostel is also cleaned daily .

Faculty: The faculty is great, exam system is good in my opinion, they provide good notes atleast most of them do, the teachers actually help us if we need something, some teachers are based towards the local students but it? S just some of them rest are okay, they don? T discriminate among students .

Other: Our college has a lot of tests, it? S quite fun around the college, the only thing I would want them to improve is the elevator, the college needs more elevator .

I would personally recommend not taking admission in this college because the campus is very small.

Placements: The college does not guarantee placements; it largely depends on your own skills. Around 50% of students get placed through college support. The highest package so far is about 18 LPA, and the lowest is around 5 LPA. Overall, the placement percentage is low..

Infrastructure: The college does not have a proper campus and is very small. The buildings and classrooms are decent inside, but the data network is poor, Wi-Fi is practically useless, and hostels are okay. The mess food lacks taste, and there are no medical facilities.

Faculty: Exams are easy in the first year, as they provide the answer key. However, things get more difficult in later years. The teachers are qualified but often lack effective teaching methods, making their classes boring. Overall, the faculty and exams are average.

Other: Events are not good at all.
