The best for college events.

Placements: 40% of students got placed, which is low compared to the promised 80%. Many MNCs are there, like Cipla, etc. The highest package a student got from our college is 16 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and the average package is 7.8 LPA.

Infrastructure: Lab equipment is average, a little bit old and rusty equipment. Hostel facilities for first-year students are good, but after it's pretty average. Mess food is the worst thing in this college.

Faculty: Faculty is pretty much neat and well-experienced, and understanding. Teachers are helpful and more than just knowledgeable. The teaching quality is proper and simple. This is one of the best courses, and it helps students to grow in many ways. Semester examinations have high difficulty. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course, it's a growing field. It has interesting things in it. In our college events, fests and these types of things are the best you could get anywhere.

Our college has good faculty members, curriculum, and exams positively rated by students.

Placements: Our college has a dedicated training and placement cell that helps students with the recruitment process including resume building, mock interviews, and aptitude tests. This college conducts various training programs and workshops to enhance the employability skills of students.

Infrastructure: Our campus is spread over 100 acres of land. It is located in Vadgaon Budruk, Pune. Our college has well-equipped libraries and state-of-the-art laboratories. Classrooms have modern teaching aids. Our college offers separate hostels for boys and girls with a capacity over 2,000 students.

Faculty: Our college has a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members. Our college follows the curriculum that is regularly updated as per the requirements of the industries and changing demands. This college follows a semester-based system to conduct exams.

Other: The campus organises various programs for the campus wellness drives, like blood donation camps, Karandak, Carnivals, etc.

B.Tech Biotechnology at the Sinhgad College of Engineering.

Placements: A large number of students are recruited every year by companies including Accenture, Cognizant and Infosys which are mass recruiters. Other companies such as Syntel, Mindtree, Mithi software also approach but with limited vacancies. As a Training and Placement student representative, I would say the T&P cell is very active and involving for the students. The roles vary but generally include software engineer. Average salary is 4 Lacs INR.

Infrastructure: The Sinhgad College Of Engineering is the main college at the campus. It is very well maintained environment for the students to study and also enjoy nature and its beauty. The labs are well-equipped. The college has facilities like wi-fi for which students have to register. The library includes a large collection of books so that the students may fulfill their requirements.

Faculty: The faculty are well trained with Ph.D. in their respective subjects. The faculty to student ratio of my department is quite good, The faculty is helpful and also guide the students for future perspectives when approached. The course curriculum is well structured and is reviewed regularly. The University makes sure the syllabus is up-to-date with industrial standards.

Other: The B.Tech Biotechnology course of Singad College of Engineering is unique in Pune and gives you a well blended application of research in Engineering.

I'm happy with my college and the knowledge I got there but I wish there were more job opportunities

Placements: For placements, campus interviews were conducted which mostly focused on IT companies like Accenture, Cognizant, and Infosys. Some students were selected in those interviews. Some students opted for off-campus biotech jobs in companies like Hi-tech Biotech, Springer Nature, Sula wines etc. Most of the people opted for higher studies.

Infrastructure: There was each and every facility provided to the students including Wi-Fi, good labs, library, medical facilities and had lots of events. Quality of food in the canteens for hostels is average but many more food places and canteens are available nearby. Hostel rooms are good. I faced no infrastructure related issue.

Faculty: The faculty members were very helpful, qualified, and experienced. Every faculty had their own teaching methods and they used efficient techniques like PPT, videos, interaction. There were 11 faculty teachers for a batch of 60 students. We had industrial visits planned by the department faculties. The course curriculum was very useful.

Excellent infrastructure but the placements are poor.

Placements: 90% of the placements are available for IT and COM. The placements are not available other branches. Various placements activities organise by the department to improve personality development. The teachers provide the information about the placement. Training and placement sector hold various sessions.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. A suitable environment is provided for the students to study. The campus has all facilities like ATM, shop, clinic, playground, mess, snacks centre,etc. Means there is no need to go anywhere to fulfil our wishes. The classrooms are good enough with light and air. Each classroom includes proper light system, projector arrangement, etc.

Faculty: All the faculty members are good. Some of them have completed their PhD in their graduation course. All members are sensitive about their duty and provide proper important information to student about their study material. They give freedom to the student to take part in event and time for practice or management of some events.
