It is an average university in Ranchi.

Placements: Not all the courses in our college offer placements, but there is a placement cell. Students in IT got direct placements at companies like Wipro, Tata, etc. B.Sc. geology students did not get direct placements from our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is old but good. There are average facilities in our department, and the university is also average. Classrooms are big. There are also hostel facilities on campus. A library and Wi-Fi are available. A canteen is also available on campus. There are no medical facilities on campus.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and skilled in their subjects. Teaching quality is above average. Semester exams are conducted every 6 months. Semester exams are not that hard. The pass percentage is above 85%.

Other: I chose this course at this university because it has a very nominal fee of Rs. 2800. This is one of the best universities in Ranchi in terms of fees. Every year, sports and cultural events are organised. Extracurricular activities are organised from time to time.

I am satisfied with university but not with placements.

Placements: Around 30% of students are placed. The top recruiting companies are TCS and not many others. We get some internships but not through our university but we have to try on our own to get internships.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good like Wi-Fi, labs, good classrooms, library, canteen, and good playground are available. Hostel quality is good and has no time boundaries. There is a good basketball ground and nice medical facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. Some teachers are from IIT DHANBAD, BHU. Some of them have nice teaching. Students have to work hard to get ready for the industry. Semester exams are tough.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it and it has better placements.

It is a average college.

Placements: It was not so good not so bad it was average, the highest salary offered approx 2.5 to 3 Lacs, it's depend what type of course they have done, almost all students got internship from the college. There were no stipend offered during internship, no placement call were there.

Infrastructure: There is no wi-fi available in campus, classrooms are clean, there is no good medical facilities, sports and games conducted every year once. , labs and library are in well condition, there is no canteen in college campus, hostel are not in well condition, yes but it is in process new infrastructure are in process.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, teaching quality is average, maximum theoretical classes are done there. There is 50-60:1 ratio, because of government college more students less faculty. No I haven't got industry exposure. I have no idea about that.

Ranchi college curriculum.

Placements: Ranchi College provides placement assistance to all its students. The dedicated placement cell regularly conducts grooming sessions of the students in areas like soft skills, interview facing skills, behavioral skills hereby making them industry-fit. In the recent years the college has witnessed some well known recruitment companies walking-in and being invited for campus placements.

Infrastructure: At Ranchi College the students are endowed with all convenient amenities that make their life 'go easy' in college hours, alongside make learning more interesting. Some of the facilities include well ventilated classrooms, recreational areas, hostel facility for boys and girls, indoor and outdoor games, stocked library, seamless internet/Wi-Fi connectivity, medical facilities etc.

Faculty: Ranchi College is one of the oldest constituent units of Ranchi University.
