B.A. (Hons.) in History - Batch of 2022

I was quite satisfied with my college life. Spacious campus with good infrastructure.
Placements: Most of the students went on to pursue higher studies because my course was a generic one. It doesn't attract so many placements but some students went on to work for some companies. Some of the students in technical courses got their placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was decent. There was a good library and spacious classrooms. Sports facilities were also there, where coaches used to teach the players skills and discipline. Dedicated labs were there for every course where teachers imparted practical knowledge to the students.
Faculty: Teachers were good at teaching and were well-qualified. They helped in extracurricular activities as well. Semester exams were a bit on the tougher side but I went on to get 7.65 CGPA. Teachers taught us the books which not only helped us in college exams but also helped us after that as well.
Other: I took up B.A. because I was planning to write UPSC CSE and some of the syllabus coincides with my course. The crowd was good but no big events happened.

Overall a decent college, but the canteen can be better.
Placements: I have recently entered the 2nd year of my course, so I don't have any proper knowledge about placements and internships at my college for my course. I will try to gather more knowledge about placements this year as I am planning to do some internships.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, and according to me, the infrastructure of my college is not that good but not that bad either. Although it would be good if fans worked properly and the buildings were properly maintained because there are many places where the infrastructure is not good.
Faculty: Faculty is knowledgeable but couldn't teach properly, in my opinion, but the curriculum is good. Semester exams are not that difficult either. Due to my interest in my subject, learning is quite enjoyable. The history faculty even took everyone for an outing.

The college provides really good education and teachers' support.
Placements: As my college has a good image when it comes to Humanities courses, we have good teachers for History, Political Science, and Geography as well. Around 70% of students who apply get internships easily. My college has many societies that help individuals develop themselves in a good way and socialize.
Infrastructure: Although this college has no hostel, it has sports facilities like football, cricket, basketball, badminton, and volleyball. Students play regularly, and the sports department is supportive too. Good food is available at cheap rates in the college canteen. But the canteen is sometimes crowded, and getting food takes longer. Classrooms are above average, and the college Wi-Fi works well with a student ID and password.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They guide students properly, even for semester exams. Semester exams are moderate. Most students get passing marks very easily. The course curriculum is completely related to the guidelines mentioned by University of Delhi. The pass percentage is around 80–85%.
Other: The college has a good number of events organized by the college and its societies throughout the year. I do my schooling in Humanities, which leads me to choose History Honours. The campus has a manageable crowd. Infrastructure is the area where work should be done. The buildings need to be renovated as soon as possible.

The college is good with too good infrastructure.
Placements: Placement opportunities for our course are average, and around 30 to 40% of students from our course get placed. The highest package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the companies are TCS and Wipro, along with a few local and mid-level companies. Mostly, students receive research, educational internships, and opportunities in the NGO sector.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, and the classrooms are big and well-maintained. The teachers use good teaching methods with the appropriate use of technology. The availability of Wi-Fi on our campus is variable, but the speed is sufficient. There are adequate labs and sports equipment. The food quality is good in our canteen, and a medical room is also available in our college that provides facilities.
Faculty: The faculty of our course is great and also helpful for our studies, and their teaching methods are very good. The course curriculum is well-structured, covering both theory and practical parts. It is designed by the university. Exams are average. They are neither very difficult nor too easy; they are moderate. The passing marks are around 40%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it, and it also helps in my competitive exams and makes me more knowledgeable. The best thing is the faculty and their behaviour. The improvement could include changes in study methods by using some digital tools. Many events and fests occur in college, and the crowd is good.

I am neutral about faculty but good placement. Infrastructure is okay but not satisfactory.
Placements: The placement cell in the college takes care of placements. Every year, many companies visit the college for placement. Annual placement is around 5–6 LPA. Many seniors got placement through college support with good packages and facilities. Placement is at a good level.
Infrastructure: Not good infrastructure. There are very few facilities like modernized classrooms of today’s time. Many classes are supposed to have projector setup, but there is no projector at all. Sports ground is good, and the library is also very good, with many books based on various subjects.
Faculty: Faculty are supportive, and teaching quality is average. My course is not relevant to the industry. If I talk about semester exams, difficulty is medium. Exams happen every semester, and the passing percentage is 33 percent, which is very easy to pass.
Other: This course is useful for UPSC examination.

Moderate college having good library and faculty members.
Placements: My course is history, and there are very few placements for my course because it is a non-professional course, but I heard that the B.Com course placement is good in college, and there is a college placement cell in the college. The college placement cell provides better placement for the students. Also, many companies visited the college.
Infrastructure: The library is so good. There is a limited lab, but it is sufficient for a lab-based course. In the library, there is a Wi-Fi service. The canteen is good, and hygiene is also good, not that much, but good. Sport facilities are good. Classrooms are not good in the context of a modernized class.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, but a few are not very helpful. My course is helpful for my future career as I want to prepare for government services. If I talk about the difficulty level of the exam, it is moderate, sometimes hard.
Other: I chose this course because of my career, and I also have a keen interest in history. The best thing about my course is that it sharpens my thinking and mindset. Scholarship is provided, but not to every student.

The college you will never regret after taking admission.
Placements: Mainly there are average students who got nearly 600 marks out of 800 marks in the entrance exam of CUET who get the admission, and in my course the average placement of students is 2 LPA, where it is mainly based on our skills and knowledge, and the top recruiting companies are there in the academy.
Infrastructure: The best infrastructure for college you dream of for the college campus is fully connected with a Wi-Fi system and highly equipped labs of the science department. And classrooms are also better as we study properly in that there is one peaceful library in the college campus with an air conditioning system.
Faculty: The teachers whom we say are professors or assistant professors are all very supportive and friendly in the context of students. They are always ready to help you with your career problems or academic problems. The main relevance of the course is the career in which field you want to focus.
Other: I will love to talk about why I choose this course because I can relate this course to the other further studies that I will pursue in my career, and it can help in the direction of civil services.

University of Delhi and its era.
Placements: This year, 40% of the total students were placed in my course. Not sure about placement packages, but as far as I have searched, the packages range from 6 lakh to 20 lakh per annum. Our course offers many roles, like one can go into politics, be a civil servant, or be an archaeologist.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is a little bit old, as almost all the colleges of the University of Delhi are made in the late 90s. But it gets comfortable within some time. Some things need to be upgraded, like furniture, air conditioners in classrooms, water pumps, etc. Libraries are fully air-conditioned and have free Wi-Fi. Our college doesn't offer any hostel facilities for students.
Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified, have great knowledge of their course, and have great experience too. Courses like history ( Hons.) are very important for students because with these courses, only students get to know about their history, their past, and their ancestors. Exams are a bit different because we have to write 500-600 words’ answers, but it gets into practice.
