One of the best colleges with very kind faculty members and a lot.

Placements: We literature students get the opportunity to learn to pen down our thoughts using different genres and language styles. More than 65% of students got placed in our college. Our college invites companies like Google, TCS, Wipro, HCL, RBS, and CTS to our campus for recruitment.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are good. It gives us the school vibes. Staff take us to the library and let us read a lot of books to increase our vocabulary skills. They teach communication skills and public speaking skills for us to overcome our stage fear. I've never been to our college hostel but the food they provide is good and hygienic. They give us opportunities in sports like basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are very much helpful. They clear our doubts. Teachers are very kind and friendly. Semester exams are easy to clear. The passing percentage is 50-60%. Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The way they teach makes us understand the concepts clearly.

Other: I chose this course to enhance my communication skills. It helps me to pen down my thoughts through novels, essays, and articles. Our college is famous for its events, cultural activities, etc.

It is a good college with friendly teachers and average infrastructure.

Placements: Top recruiting companies visit our campus. Many students get internships in their third year.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available. Mobile devices are not allowed to be used on campus. Many books are available in the library. The canteen is not good. Our college does not provide good infrastructure. There is a separate building for sports.

Faculty: Each semester, we have two internal exams, each worth 40 marks. They are useful to study for the semester because those two tests have 50 marks each and are converted into 10 marks each. The remaining 20 marks are for participation and presentation, like a seminar. We'll write our semester for 100 marks. They are converted into 60 marks, and with those 40 marks for internals, the total is 100.

Other: Our college organises many competitions and cultural events.

It has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed in our college. Course package of English literature starts from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000. Top recruiting companies are Google, TCS, etc. It allows students to participate in many competitions, sports, debates, and acquire leadership qualities.

Infrastructure: The college canteen is good. All the time food is available. The quality of the food is good. The health center is also available which is available for 24 hours. Sports and games are also available. We have basketball, karate, badminton, silambam, volleyball, throwball, kho-kho, and tennis.

Faculty: All the teachers are well educated, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are helpful during exams. The syllabus of English course covers all literature topics and many great poets works which help students to know about the in-depth study of poets. The semester exams contain tricky questions but most of them are answerable and the pass percentage is 50%.

Other: Ethiraj college is one of the best colleges in Chennai. There are many cultural programs thereby students can use the opportunity to show their talents. As it is a women's college and girls can wear a western dress but in a modest way.

It is one of the best colleges in Chennai city.

Placements: Placements are decent, to begin with. It provides minimal internship opportunities, but placements are good. Students get recruited as content writers, teachers, journalists, etc. The salary packages offered are decent. The average salary offered ranges from Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month, depending on the type of company and the role offered. Overall, the placements are decent for someone who desperately want a job after college.

Infrastructure: The library and the labs are helpful. The student ID card provides free access to these. The classroom infrastructure is decent depending on where you study- aided college or self-funded college. The food served is good in both the college canteens. The food served is affordable and tastes good. But during breaks, these are very crowded because of space constraints. There is a small playground on the second campus. The hostel is good. It has time restrictions to go out and even to go home, which I heard from friends as I did not stay in the college hostel.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is great. The course curriculum keeps changing every 3-4 years to make sure it stays relevant to the present and helps students. The course has practical papers that can help you get good jobs and can even help in doing your masters. It creates a good base for the future. Exams are relatively not very difficult if you understand what the course expects of a learner. The pass percentage is 35-40% which is split as 40% is of internals and 60% finals. The internals includes 2 term exams called CAs, a presentation, and an assignment for 10 marks each. Then we write finals for 100, which is converted to 60.

Other: The college is well-known for its culture and events. Scholarships are provided to deserving students. The course I enrolled for was great both curriculum-wise as well as the campus experience-wise. The crowd is supportive, and you can make very good friends with both your peers and teachers. There are a lot of clubs and services like NSS, NCC, JRC, community service clubs, Rotaract, etc.

The campus is very conjusted. But students can enjoy college life and have fun with friends.

Placements: In this college, teachers and content writers were the jobs offered in our course. So most of the students do not go for counseling. Students wanted to do higher studies, so there were no placements, because the counseling was canceled as students did not want it. Our course did not require internships.

Infrastructure: There were no Wi-Fi and laboratories were provided but they were used rarely. The classrooms were neat, the library was good for our course. The hostel does not provide Wi-Fi, washing machine, etc. But it was fun to be there with friends. Hostel food was not good, ther were no non-vegetarian. There were no doctors in the hostel. Gym was always kept closed. The hostel does not had sports items.

Faculty: In this college, some teachers rarely come to class, some were not.
