Fergusson College's First Year BSc programme admission is offered to those who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent test with English and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. Yes, Fergusson College follows the seat reservation policy as per the norms laid down by the Government of Maharashtra from time to time. The reservation policy favours candidates belonging to the socially disadvantaged categories. These categories included Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Nomadic Tribes, Other Backward Castes, etc. Further, reserved category candidates belonging to states other than Maharashtra are treated as Open (General) category.
