Very satisfied with the college faculty, and with good placements, but bad in 2023. Nice to be here.
Placements: As I am studying in 1st year, I haven't talked with our super seniors completely, but slightly. I asked once, and they told me that placements in our college last year were terrible compared to other years. The highest is 32 LPA, the lowest is 7 LPA, and the average is 10 LPA. The top recruiters of our college are TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, and Axiom OI. Top roles offered are software engineer, full-stack developer, data scientist, and AI engineer.
Infrastructure: We have no Wi-Fi; in addition, we have jammers to block the network. The labs are well-designed and properly maintained. Classrooms are really good with projectors included, clean boards, and nice airflow through the windows. Very comfortable. The library is also good with books. They have more books than any college after GITAM.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful to us. They have nice qualifications and are very friendly when teaching us. They also help us in lab practicals very well. Our course curriculum is fully relevant, and it does help in keeping students industry-ready. It is really tough, but you could pass if you study well.
Other: I chose this course out of pure passion for being a chip designer, and the best thing about our course is the course itself. If the faculty of the 1st year goes easy on us in labs, then it would be a great help for us to improve. Events are indeed well-maintained. I love the annual day.

An overview of Gayatri Vidya Parishad.
Placements: Placements are still going, but if you are a CS student, you have a high chance of getting placed. The highest on-campus package was 18 LPA, and the top recruiting companies were Cisco, Zoho, TCS, etc. There were very few internship opportunities, and my batchmates who got internship opportunities were mainly off-campus. The top roles offered were SDE, data analyst, systems engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not top-level, but neither is it totally disappointing. Wi-Fi is only in the labs. Hostel facilities are provided both by the college and outside of the college. The food quality and other aspects are pretty decent in our college. The library is really good with a lot of books.
Faculty: Faculty and teaching quality are alright, and it hardly matters, as students always end up studying on their own or through YouTube playlists. The course curriculum is designed to teach you the basics of computer science, though it would not say that it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not that tough if you prepare well, but the grading is pretty strict. The pass percentage is 40% marks.

It is a good college for learning.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in this college is quite more compared to any other EAMCET-assigned college in Andhra Pradesh. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, and TCS.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in this college are quite not good. We have classrooms. There is no indoor stadium for games. The food served in the mess is good compared to any other college in Visakhapatnam. They don't provide sports facilities. The food available in this college canteen is not good. The food is limited to a certain variety only
Faculty: Our teachers are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is better than any other college in this state. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult compared to any other examination.
Other: I chose this course because it is currently trending. Festivals and cultural activities organised at this college leave much to be desired. Overall if you want to study and want good placements without any extracurricular activities, then this college is quite good for you.

Since you got the 98,000th rank you may get a seat in Gayatri Engineering College but we cannot assure you that since your rank is low. It is better to have a second opinion on some other colleges you know. The seat eligibility may depend on your category and the course you opt for.
