Average placement at GKCIET College.

Placements: In mechanical engineering branch, there have been 50% of placements provided to the students. Not many companies come to this college. In this college, there is only theoretical knowledge provided. Only those students who have good CGPA are used to get placements here.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not much good. Lab is dirty, not so properly maintained. Faculty members used to take some serious action about mess food, playing ground, medical facilities, footpath, etc. Mess food is not much good every day for hostel students which is very serious topic to solve.

Faculty: Maximum students get back in subjects in the semester exams. But after filling the PPR form and paying Rs 2,00 for each subject, which we get back, most of the time few subjects used to clear, but not for all subjects. After re-checking those subjects, they used to have much different results.

Other: 75% attendance is mandatory in every CA exam which is not possible for every student, who used to do preparation for competitive exams.

Hostel facilities and faculty members are good.

Placements: As I am from mechanical engineering, so there are only a few placements. This year, around 31 students got placed. Around 3 students are from mechanical engineering and the remaining are from electrical engineering. Our college provides internships and workshops for mechanical engineering like Autocad, Ansys, etc. Students will get internships from the mechanical branch. Our college gives students a chance as part of their winter and summer internships.

Infrastructure: Facilities in our department are not good. There are small labs which can't accommodate many students. The equipment is less. The library is good and well-maintained. The hostel is very good and comfortable. It has a balcony, one bed, a chair, a table, and fans. Around 2 students can stay in each room. The mess facilities are not good. The food quality is not good. Students will get free Wi-Fi in the canteen. Its food is not as good as expected. Every year, sports are organised as part of annual sports. Students get the chance to explore sports activities.

Faculty: Other department teachers are helpful. In the mechanical department, students get a lot of pressure compared to other departments. It makes students ready for the job if they prepare well. There are 4 CAs along with 2 practical assessments and 1 final semester exam. As it is connected to MAKAUT, students have to score well, otherwise they will fail. The passing mark is 40 marks.

Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Most of the students of our batch have gone for higher studies but a decent number of candidates have gotten placement. The highest package was 7.2 LPA and the lowest was 1.6 LPA. Most of the companies were offering sales roles, some offered technical roles.

Infrastructure: Course completion was average. The course covers a variety of fields. The campus canteen provides moderate food while the hostel mess provides horrible food. The hostel on the other hand is well-equipped and well-maintained, clean, and spacious. Rooms are big enough for sharing without having any trouble.

Faculty: The teachers were decent throughout the course. But new teachers are being recruited and the faculty is improving and currently is better than previous faculty. Semester exams are decent and students can pass with effort. The course curriculum is relevant but doesn't make students industry-ready.

Good college and better placement and well-designed infrastructure.

Placements: 90 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package is 31 lacks per annum, the lowest package is 2.3 lacks per annum, and the average package is 14 lacks per annum. The top recruiting companies are Flipkart, TATA, BHEL, Indian Oil, etc. A total of 80 percent of students got an internship in TATA, BHEL, etc. And top roles offered in our course are machine learning with 12 lacks per annum.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good and well-designed, and they provide departments with classrooms and Wi-Fi facilities, which we can only use for Smart-Board Connection. They also provide labs for related subjects and libraries, where we get all kinds of materials. The quality of food in the hostel is not that good, but the mess is hygienic, and they provide medical facilities in emergencies, and sports are provided.

Faculty: The teachers are good and well knowledgeable, and they help us in learning, and they teach us in the correct way if we do not understand. And they have good qualifications, and our subject is curriculum relevant, which helps us be industry-ready. The semesters are difficult, and we cannot pass easily if we read for a day, but we can pass if we read for a month. The passing percentage is 55 percent of marks.

Best College and really good.

Placements: Our College had made more Placements Compared to Other College. They have Collaborated with Many companies such as aTATA, Hyundai, Maruti, Hcl, and many. More than 52 students are placed in good Companies. The highest package is 6 Lacs and the lowest package is 4.2 LPA. The Internships from OUR college is good.

Infrastructure: Hostel is large they give more facilities such as Electric, water and Food at Mess is good. The facilities such as modern Classroom with smart AV, Wi-Fi connection in campus. Labs with all equipments. Library with more number of books. I think Hostel is providing good facilities with food.

Faculty: Teachers are supportive in class they Teach well with All facilities. Teaching quality is good. They have done Masters in our College. The semester exams are hard to pass. Passing percentage is 72%. Course curriculum is relevant to Construction field. They make us Industry .

Really, it's a very good college.

Placements: 57 percent of students are placed in good companies in our mechanical course. The highest package is 10 lakhs per annum, the lowest is 3.5 lakhs per annum, and the average package is 6 lakhs per annum. 40 percent of students got internships from campus-selection companies like Tata Group, BHEL, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided include modern classrooms with projectors and smart boards. Wi-Fi connectivity is available on campus, along with labs equipped with materials. The library has a larger number of books. Yes, the hostel provides good facilities with quality and quantity of food, and it also provides medical and sports-required items.

Faculty: Teachers are supportive in the classroom. They teach in an effective and understandable way. Teachers are more qualified with master's and higher degrees. The students are trained for industry readiness. The semester exams are difficult to pass, with a pass percentage of 78%.

Good Labs and Review of College.

Placements: Our Ghani khan Choudhury college placed more than 1500+ students in IT Companies and Many of them are Top Architecture. The highest Placed Package is 27 LPA, the lowest placed package is 2.3 LPA. Top Recruiting Companies are Connected with our Campus Placements like TATA, BHEL, Indian oils and Maherndra.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is provided only for Teachers at staff room and office Room. The Mechanical Lab is large with all the latest Tools and Machines, Library is large and we have Seperate Block for Mechanical Students. The Hostel is Near to our College with in the Campus. They give good food in Canteen.

Faculty: The Faculty have more Knowledge with the New Tools and Machines. The Have more Experience and done Masters in the Mech field. The Teaching Quality is good. The course Curriculum is relevant. The Students make ready for Industry. The Semester Exams and Labs are hard to pass.

It is a good college. It is growing rapidly, and everything is fine.

Placements: This college started its B.Tech journey in the academic year 2018, affiliated with MAKAUT. So the first batch of B.Tech i.e 2018-2022 has received good packages. Especially tech companies visit these campuses. The highest salary package offered is 31 LPA by Flipkart, other than Infocomm Pvt Ltd which visit on-campus the average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Many students from the electrical department get selected for on-campus placements. Some other tech companies visit to hire students like L&T, Mando Automotive Private Ltd, High Technext Engineering, and Telecom Pvt Ltd. Almost 75% of students are placed. Almost 70-80% of students are placed in tech and the core field. Currently for the academic 2022-2023, the 3rd year students of the electrical, as well as a mechanical department, are pursuing their internships in railways. Some of the students get internships from GAIL.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are good in this college. The central library is under construction and will be opened. It is well furnished with approximately 12,000 books. Our college has its Wi-Fi network so the students can access it for necessary information regarding studies. The laboratories are big and it has equipped with proper tools and devices. Our college has a big workshop for mechanical engineering and laboratories for all three departments i.e food technology, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering. There is also a department of applied sciences and humanity, so it has a physics as well as a chemistry laboratory. This college has a computer laboratory, English laboratory with well-furnished items. Our college has two hostels one for boys and another one for girls one is Swami Vivekananda hall and another is S C Bose hall, and it also has a big canteen. There are also staff quarters for professors but hostel allotment has not started yet, but it will be starting soon. This college has 3 main buildings for academics blocks A, B, C, and one central library. It also has main administrative buildings. This college has big playgrounds where every year annual sports or cultural functions are held. This college has a seminar hall.

Faculty: In this college, professors are good and helpful in all aspects. They provide students with the best solution to our questions other than academics also. They encourage students to prepare for other competitive exams like GATE and other government exams. They provide students with previous year questions for semester exams. Students can explore everything in this college. There are a robotics club, drama, and dance club. There is a student welfare committee where all the scholarships need to be accessed by this college authority. Our college is ragging-free.

Other: I opted for this mechanical engineering, because of my interest in core since childhood. The department is old, but a lot of things students can explore. One needs to be mentally prepared and can able to judge what to do shortly. The mechanical department also helps to grab many governments. Jobs and a lot of vacancies come under PSU. This college has many cultural events such as a tech fest, a cultural fest for any particular program, and a drone competition also held in our college every year. This college conducts annual sports every year during winter.
