    Honest truth review of gitam University.
    Placements: In my batch, 6 out of 11 students are selected for teaching post in a recognised international English medium school, with a salary of 20-25k per month. omics, laila nutrictical, tcs, dr. Reddys etc. have visited my college. mostly teaching and journal analyst like posts are offered for Science students. we have a training and placement cell and that is working properly gathering different placement opportunities for Science students.it is very useful, as Science students don't get enough opportunities for getting a job from the campus.
    Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but inside the buildings only and that to encrypted. classrooms are good but not AC, some are facilitated with projectors, good ventilation is available.there is a central library having fully computer system and opac enabled, plenty of books are available for every stream.There are also journal& newspaper section along with research reference section. Quality of labs are good having some costly instruments but not all.Canteen food is okay with respect to money. Hostel rooms are good with daily cleaning facility. infrastructure wise no issues at all.
    Faculty: Yes teachers are qualified, helpful & knowledgeable.Every teacher has some good background and research papers articled of their own. The teaching quality is very much focused on the typical syllabus.Teaching methods are syllabus oriented mostly and should be improved more to encourage students to do research and higher studies.There are industrial exposure available to the B.Tech students, many companies have MOU with this college which helps it to provide exposure. No all the course curriculum are not useful as per the stream, some are irrelevant and waste of time.some syllabus papers are need to be modified as per the latest national level entrance exams and recent requirements.
    Other: Very few cultural and entertainment events took place in this University throughout the year and that to paid everytime. But educational seminars, workshops are organised almost every second or third day on different institutes of the university, which are helpful for the students.It has various communities like -gusac, kalakriti etc. Working on the campus, campus is NEET and clean everywhere having 2 bank branches of union and Indian bank along with 4 ATMs are available.campus is full of trees so feels good, best part of college is the location of its. Natural peaceful campus provides good atmosphere for study.
