Absolutely good infrastructure but not good placements.
Placements: Firstly the percentage of students placed in 2024 was around 90%. The highest package is 24 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Oracle, Amazon, Infosys, and TCS. The top company is Amazon. Around 90% of students get internships in startup companies in data science.
Infrastructure: The facility is very good in our college. The infrastructure is excellent. It has a digital lab and Wi-Fi facilities are good. There is a good library offline as well as online. Hostel has good food and also good facilities. Campus has a cafe named Gitam Cafe, which is excellent. Sports court is available for football and cricket. We have big buses and lawns.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. Some of them are not so experienced, just come and go for the purpose of salary. I don't think faculty members make students industry-ready. There are 300 students, and 3 students are placed. All semester exams are hard, and it depends on studying.
Other: I chose data science course because of my interest to become data analytic. They have to improve the course teaching. GITAM has big events recently i.e., Prerana event, which I have joined and enjoyed a lot of experienced cultural people food and dance.

Decent infrastructure improving placements, but faculty needs work.
Placements: In our batch and course, around 70-75% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, and Cognizant. Around 50-60% of students secured internships. Companies like TCS, Infosys, IBM, and startups provided the most opportunities. Top roles offered are software developed, data analyst, business analyst, and IT consultant.
Infrastructure: The course or department facilities include well-equipped labs with modern equipment, spacious classrooms with projectors, high-speed Wi-Fi, and access to a well-stocked library with both physical and digital resources. The hostel facilities are fairly decent, offering clean rooms and basic amenities. The food quality in the mess and canteen is average, with a mix of options but lacks variety at times. Medical facilities are available but limited to basic first-aid, with more serious issues needing external care. Sports and games are supported with decent grounds, courts, and equipment for popular sports, but some facilities require better maintenance.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful and approachable, with most being qualified and knowledgeable in their subjects. However, the teaching quality is consistent, with some being excellent at explaining concepts while others rely heavily on outdated methods. The curriculum is moderately relevant but needs to be updated to align with current industry trends. It covers foundation topics well but lacks sufficient focus on emerging technologies and practical skills, which means additional effort is required to become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a mix of theoretical and application-based questions.
Other: I chose this course because it is aligned with my career interests, offers decent placement opportunities, and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical applications. The best things about the course include a strong foundation in core subjects, access to labs for hands-on learning, decent placement opportunities with reputed companies, and flexibility to explore projects and extracurricular activities. Areas for improvement include updating the curriculum to include emerging technologies and industry trends, providing more practical exposure and internships, improving teaching methodologies, and focusing on skill development.

Placements: Placement rate for B.Tech across disciplines hovered between 75% and 90%, depending on branch (e.g. CSE 90%, ECE 85%, mechanical 80%, and civil 75%). Another source cites a broad placement range of 80-90%. Overall, university has MOUs with more than 200 companies for internships and live industry projects. Top roles offered are software engineer, data scientist, embedded engineer, RPA engineer, quality engineer, design engineer, circuit designer, project manager, cloud engineer, and data analyst.

Placements: 80 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package is 15 lacs, the lowest package is 2.5 lacs, and the average package is 5 lacs offered in our course. TCS and Bosch companies recruit for our course.
90 percent of students got internships from our course. HR is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: The department offers high-speed Wi-Fi access throughout the campus, ensuring students have seamless internet connectivity for research, assessment, and online resources. There are well-equipped laboratories with modern equipment and tools that support practical learning and searching.

My experience in my college.
Placements: Around 60% of students get placed in our course. The highest package is 24 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. The top companies are Infosys, Hexaware, Deltax, Wipro, Accenture, and TCS. Around 50% of students get internships at companies like TCS, Accenture, and Hexaware in data analysis.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, AC, CAD labs, canteen, bookshop, and auditorium are available. Facilities in our hostel include rooms, food, Wi-Fi, washing machines, and reasonable PG fees. The canteen in our college is good, with quality food at a reasonable price. The medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and speak fluent English. They are very helpful in clarifying doubts and explaining with suitable examples. The course I have taken is very useful for the future. The exam pattern is very easy to pass. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course, with my interest. By learning many things, I can improve my knowledge and skills. The events are conducted with so much interest, and they help to overcome stage fear.
