Dayananda Sagar University offers BTech as a 4 year UG level programme on the basis of merit and entrance. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12 with valid scores secured in accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main. Furthermore, candidates must clear the counselling round to seek the final admission. The fees structure of the same includes a total tuition fees ranging from INR 15.7 Lakh to INR 18.9 Lakh. 

Every year, over 80% of B.Tech students get placed across branches, which is a rather high placement proportion.

1. The typical salary ranges from Rs 4 to Rs 6 LPA, with the highest salary package offered being Rs 18 LPA.
2. Prominent employers in the field of technology include Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Bosch and Mercedes Benz.
3. Core engineering specialties such as electronics, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering are placed in the manufacturing and construction industries as well as software services.
4. Students majoring in computer Science and information Science are generally hired for IT and software positions, however some choose to pursue graduate degrees.

Dayananda Sagar University COMEDK UGET cutoff 2023 was published for admission to the BTech course for various categories under the All India and Home State quota. 

For the General AI category, the last round cutoff ranged from 29314 to 38529, wherein B.Tech in Robotics and AI was the most popular course specialisation for admission. Students should keep in mind that this is the cutoff for the Genera AI category; other rounds, categories, courses, etc., will have different cutoffs accordingly. 

Dayananda Sagar University BTech in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year programme. The University offers the UG-level programme in the full-time mode. Admission to a BTech in CSE at DSU is entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission must appear for one of the accepted entrance exams, followed by the counselling process for seat allocation. The accepted entrance exams include COMEDK UGCET, KCET, and JEE Mains.

Further, aspirants must also meet the eligibility criteria specified by the university. They must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12/ PUC. The qualifying exam must have been passed with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects, along with any one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Technical Vocational subjects.
