A good, practical and career-oriented CSE experience.
Placements: My college provides decent placements with training for interviews and communication skills. Several Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant visit the campus, offering roles in Software development and support roles through the placement cell. The highest package of our college was 28 LPA, the lowest package was 3 LPA, and the average package was 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college was good. We have well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms and a good library. The hostel is decent, the rooms are clean, and the mess food is okay. Sport facilities are available, and medical support is provided on campus.
Faculty: The CSE faculty is supportive, qualified and explains concepts according to the bookish knowledge. The curriculum is updated with industry topics like coding, DBMS, and AI. Semester exams are moderate if we follow classes and practice, we get good grades. Probably most students clear exams with good grades.
Other: I chose CSE because of my interest in programming and the good placement scope. The course teaches useful technical skills and offers coding events and hackathons. Campus life is friendly with fests and clubs. I wish there were more advanced labs and more industry-based workshops. Overall value for money.

Good placements and a supportive environment.
Placements: Our GMRIT CSE branch saw about 80% placements. The highest Package was 12 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, with an average of 4.5 LPA. Recently, 248 members were selected for the Infosys drive conducted in our college. Top recruiters included TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant and HCL. Around 55% students got internships. The main roles were Web developers and System Engineers.
Infrastructure: Our department has Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, well-equipped computer labs and a good library. Hostels are decent with basic amenities. Mess food is okay, and the canteen offers better options. Medical care is available on campus. Sports grounds and indoor games support student activities.
Faculty: Teachers were supportive, well-qualified and explained concepts clearly. The curriculum is mostly embedded with industry-relevant coding, labs and projects. Semester exams are moderate if you study regularly. The pass percentage is generally high, 75 - 85% each year.
Other: I was part of the CSE batch. I chose this course for good career scope and interest in tech. Best parts are labs, projects and placements support. Needs more advanced workshops. The campus has fests, active clubs, good bus connectivity and scholarships for eligible students.

My GMRIT Journey - From debugging code to dodging attendance.
Placements: I am currently studying in my 3rd year in the branch of CSE at GMRIT College. I am really happy with the placement opportunities provided here. In our recent Placement Drive, nearly 248 members got placed in Infosys Company. Around 90 companies have visited my college since I joined. The highest package offered is 28 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The average package of the students who got placed in my college is nearly 4 - 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: In my experience, GMRIT has excellent infrastructure. Every CSE classroom has projectors. The labs contain high-speed Wi-Fi and updated systems. The library has vast resources and digital access, through which we can access some premium journals and base papers for our reference purposes. The hostel fee is around 1,04,000 per year, but the food quality is poor. Sports and gym facilities are great, and the canteen food is tasty and affordable.
Faculty: From my experience, teachers are well qualified but lack engaging teaching skills. Most rely on PPTs and focus on notes rather than practical learning. The faculty here comes and teach notes to the students, just like LKG and UKG kids and gives punishment if they fail in mid or don't write the notes that they are teaching. The syllabus is vast and relevant, but only theory is emphasized. Evaluation is strict and tough, as they fail people to build new building in the campus.
Other: I chose CSE as a lateral entry student from Diploma since it matched my background. Placements are good with many opportunities, but instead of letting students write records, assignments, and observations, more coding contests and practice sessions would help students gain real interview confidence.

Absolutely the good choice through any EAPCET without any payment, really a green campus.
Placements: At Infosys, 248 members are selected. In other companies, around 400 people get selected. The packages are around 16 LPA, and every person is satisfied. Even the faculty members are trying to get us the best opportunities, and not only CSE students get into IT but core students also get jobs there.
Infrastructure: The hostels are good but the internet facility is average. We have LAN but sometimes it may not work. First-year students will not get any wired network. The food is not much good sometimes and sometimes it is the best. I think it is not that much value for money.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and responsible. But the curriculum is not that much advanced, and also not effective. It does not give that much experience in the domain, and mainly the practice time is low. The odd semester has gone so fast after the mid, literally one month for 2 units.

Best place to learn new technologies and acquire good skills.
Placements: Our college has the best placements, and some companies are visited to recruit our students. Many students are placed. The minimum package is 3 LPA, the highest package is 40 LPA, and average package is 10 LPA. The students who have more skills than CGPA, will definitely get a job. Our college is the best for placements.
Infrastructure: Our college has free Wi-Fi. Infrastructure is also good. Our college provides the best labs with LAN facility, and they also provide library. The quality of food in hostel is nice. In hostels, they provide the best rooms. College can have 3 playgrounds, which have enough space to play all the games. For meditation, they also provide rooms.
Faculty: In our college, faculty members are well-qualified. They will support you every time. Apart from academics, they also give support and guidance, do projects, and they also give many suggestions. Semester exams are hard when we do all the hardwork, only we get hard marks and paper correction is very hard. The pass percentage is 70%.
Other: I am from computer science background, with artificial intelligence which is currently trending in the world. It is the best thing we are new to technologies, and the things that should improve are that our branch has limited placements. Many companies have rejected our branch candidates.
