Well-disciplined college with a focus on skill development and industry exposure.
Placements: In our college, placements are going well, mainly for civil and mechanical students who are getting jobs competitive with CSE, AI, and AI & ML, and in 2024, GMRIT had a 95% placement rate for eligible students, with around 90-91 companies visiting in the last placement season.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. The hostel is also good, and they take action if there is any problem or issue in the hostel or classrooms. Students report good labs, comfortable infrastructure, a green and clean campus, and helpful faculty according to many reviews.
Faculty: The faculty are very educated and treat students equally, taking care of every student by helping them if they have any doubt about a subject or any problem, although some students complain about the hostel, food, restroom maintenance, etc., and while placement stats look good, detailed branch-wise breakdowns or clarity of how many eligible students there are isn’t always obvious.
Other: In our college, we celebrate many events which are helpful to us, and we have fests, etc., but sometimes we feel that it is like a life full of instructions and rules.

I am satisfied with the faculty, but tough to get placed .
Placements: A maximum of 50% students are placed. The lowest package is from 10,000 per month, the average is from 20,000-25,000, and the highest is from 12 LPA. The top companies are Infosys and Wipro. Above 90% of students got into Hashtek Solutions, Data Pro, etc. Roles like data analyst, data scientist, etc.
Infrastructure: There are lots of facilities in our college, like they provide LAN and Wi-Fi, and there will be neat classrooms. The food quality is good, they will keep on time, and they all let us play games. There is a gym, also we can also do exercise and play badminton, cricket games are there.
Faculty: All the teachers are qualified, they have done their M.Teach in universities like AU, etc. This course is very useful for students because nowadays AI is the trending Semester exams will be conducted strictly in our college. Exams are a little bit tough pass percentage is above 40%.
Other: I chose this course because nowadays AI is trending, and we can do so many things through AI. There will be events like a step cone. This will be conducted every year in our college, and there is a music club there where we can learn music or play Guitar, and there are grounds where we can play volleyball and cricket.

Choose this college if u have scholarship eligibility.
Placements: Placement percentage is about 70% on an average; due to recession, the percentage is dropped drastically. The highest package is 12 LPA, least is 2 LPA, and average is 5 LPA. Mostly TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture hire our pass outs. Internship is mandatory in the final semester, so the percentage is above 95%. Roles like Data Analyst, Artificial Engineer are offered to us.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure beautiful and have all kinds of facilities. Sports ground and library are available along with well-working labs. Hostel facilities are also good but are expensive. Canteen food is satisfactory along with the mess food also.
Faculty: The teachers at our department are highly knowledgeable and skilled. But they are not at all friendly and supportive; they are always rude and strict. Course curriculum is relevant but it does not teach us practical application. Semester exams are moderate difficult but can pass with hard work, so the pass percentage would be around 70%.
Other: Artificial Intelligence is ruling today's world, so I have chosen this path as my career. Events are a hit in our college; fests are held very often encouraging the campus and student connectivity.

Average course with poor faculty support and disappointing campus.
Placements: In our course, placements are still in progress, with only 3 students placed so far. The highest package offered is 9.5 LPA, while the lowest is modest, and the average falls between them. Most hiring has been by startups, usually in single digits, which limits the overall percentage of placed students. Internships have also been secured by a few students, again largely in startups, giving good exposure to real projects. The top roles offered so far include software development, data analysis, and IT-related positions, matching the focus of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Opportunities are expected to grow.
Infrastructure: The facilities for our course are fairly basic. The labs are functional and serve the purpose, but they are not state-of-the-art. Although the campus claims to provide free Wi-Fi, students do not actually get reliable access, which is a drawback. Classrooms are decent and do the job, but nothing exceptional. The library is underwhelming, with a limited collection of books that often doesn’t meet the needs of our course. Hostel facilities are average. The food in the mess and canteen is manageable but not great. Medical facilities are available in case of emergencies, and sports options are present but limited.
Faculty: The teaching quality in our department is mixed. Out of every ten faculty members, maybe one truly stands out as knowledgeable and supportive, while many others come across as too egotistic, which affects approachability. The curriculum itself is relevant on paper, with subjects aligned to AI and Data Science, but the lack of practical exposure and modern tools makes it less effective in preparing students for industry needs. Semester exams are not very difficult, as they mostly test theoretical knowledge rather than application. The pass percentage is generally high, but that doesn’t always reflect a strong learning outcome.
Other: I chose this course mainly because I had no other options at the time, and honestly, I wish I had gotten into a different college. The course itself has potential, but a lot of things could be improved, especially practical exposure and industry readiness. The fests here are disappointing; they are not really fests but long, boring speeches and endless prize distributions. If five hours are allocated, four hours are wasted on talks, and only one hour is actual fun. The campus crowd is average, extracurricular activities are limited, and overall, the vibe often feels dull and uninspiring.

Average college but good infrastructure and environment .
Placements: Top companies like Cognizant, L&T, TCS, and Infosys are hiring people in our college. It is good, and here faculty supports students by initiating programs like placement training and mock tests on a daily basis. And preplacement internships are also given for a few students.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good, and the food is average, but everything is clean. There will be a clean environment; the rooms are also good. The girls hostel is very secure for girls. Every rule is meant for girls security. Labs are too good, and LAN connection is provided in the hostel 24 hrs.
Faculty: Teachers are good and qualified. Teaching quality for faculty can be rated as 3.5/5. But the campus overall supports the students in building their careers; college provides you with many programs, cell for student development, which include ISTE, ACM, dance club, music club, coders club, etc., to encourage people in all the ways. Pass percentage is 80%.
