GMRIT is a decent college with good facilities and faculty. It needs better placements and exposure.
Placements: Around 55% of students from the ECE branch got placed. The highest package is about 10 LPA, the average is around 4.5LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Major companies included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini. Internships are offered to around 30% of students, mostly in IT roles.
Infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure with Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a good library. However, Wi-Fi connectivity is sometimes slow. Hostel facilities are average, and the mess food quality could be better. Sports and medical facilities are available but need improvement.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are qualified and supportive, but the teaching quality varies across departments. The curriculum follows JNTU standards and is more theory-based than industry-oriented. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty. The pass percentage is 85-90 percent.
Other: I chose ECE because it offers both hardware and software career options. The campus environment is peaceful with good greenery and frequent cultural and technical fests. Helpful faculty and balanced placement opportunities.
Placements: I was a part of the ECE branch. Around 70-75% students got placed. The highest Package was 10 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was 4.2 LPA. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and Tech Mahindra recruited the most. About 50% got internships in companies like BSNL, DRDO and Local Startups. Roles included Embedded engineer, Network Support and PCB designer.
Infrastructure: The ECE department has WI-Fi, digital classrooms and well-equipped labs. The library has good reference books. Hostels are decent with basic facilities. Mess food is okay, and the canteen offers better options. Medical care is available on campus. Sports grounds and indoor games support student activities.
Faculty: Teachers in ECE were supportive, qualified and explained topics clearly. The curriculum is mostly relevant to labs and mini-projects, helping with industry skills. Semester exams are moderate if you study regularly. The pass percentage stays around 75-85% each year.
Other: I was part of the ECE batch. I chose this course due to my interest in electronics and the good career scope. The best part was the hands-on labs and project work. I wish there were more industry workshops. Campus fests are active, the crowd is friendly, transport is good, and scholarships help many students.

Placements: In my batch, approximately 85% of students get placed. The highest package is 18 LPA. The average is 7 LPA. The lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, and Amazon. About 70% of students secure internships at Deloitte, Capgemini, and Cognizant. Roles include Developer, Analyst, and Consultant.
Infrastructure: The course offers Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, and library access. The hostel provides clean rooms, decent mess food, a canteen, and 24/7 medical help. Sports facilities are good with a court and a gym. They ensure a balanced academic and campus life.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and well-qualified. They focus on practical learning. The curriculum is updated and industry-relevant. Exams are moderately tough but manageable with preparation. The pass percentage is 90%. It reflecting a fair evaluation.
Other: I chose this course for its career prospects and my interest in teaching. The best parts are practical exposure and supportive faculty. More industry tie-ups are needed. The campus has vibrant fests, a diverse crowd, good connectivity, scholarships, and active clubs.

college is nice in the facilities, infrastructure.iam dissatisfied in placements in the year 2023.
Placements: Nearly 70% of students were placed in GMRIT in ECE Branch. The lowest package is 4 lakhs per annum and the highest package is 40 lakhs per annum. The top recruiting companies are moschip ,cognizant , TCS , wipro , infosys etc. Nearly 70% of students got the internship from the course in the complanies like BSNL , CEMS , developer , debugger etc. The top roles offered in the course are VLSI design engineer , embedded system Engineer , hardware design engineer etc.
Infrastructure: Coming to the infrastructure our college is very good. The facilities was very good there is no water, Internet, washrooms , AC's problems and all . The labs are very good . Our college library also contains several number of books if you want to prepare for the competitive exams also there are many books available . There is a gym in the college and that is my favourite place we can do workouts daily.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and experienced. They can teach very well and the course curriculum is very relevant and it makes the industry ready. The semester exams are little tough since my branch is ECE some core subjects are tough. We can write very well if we study hard. The pass percentage is 75% .
Other: Iam very much interested in VLSI especially in the design verification part. Iam very passionate about VLSI and i like very much to work with the electronic devices like chip designing that's why i choose this course. The best things in btech , ECE is future scope and we can on innovative things.
Iam very happy with my course but I feel better if we had more hands on experience.
The events are conducted in the campus rarely but the events are fantastic and extra curricular activities are also good.

Life in GMRIT - Why you should consider joining GMR College.
Placements: Our college gets some companies for internships, and some of them have PPO offers too. I would like to rate my college 3.5. Least package is 2.5 LPA, and the highest package is 40 LPA up until now. 100% of the students get internships, and they can apply for placements in college when they have no backlogs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. I would like them to have more facilities like bigger rooms for hostel rooms. There is a new building under construction now. After its inauguration, more branches like cybersecurity and AI-related courses are to be included in the college curriculum.
Faculty: Faculty members for every department are an epitome for other instructors from other colleges. I have almost come into contact with every faculty, and everyone thrives for a better future. Though there might be some understanding between the teachers and students. HODs of every department respond cordially to their colleagues and to the students.
Other: There is nothing much to improve. If you want software jobs, you can apply to GMR College. It has the highest number of placements from the software side branches.
