college is nice in the facilities, infrastructure.iam dissatisfied in placements in the year 2023.
Placements: Nearly 70% of students were placed in GMRIT in ECE Branch. The lowest package is 4 lakhs per annum and the highest package is 40 lakhs per annum. The top recruiting companies are moschip ,cognizant , TCS , wipro , infosys etc. Nearly 70% of students got the internship from the course in the complanies like BSNL , CEMS , developer , debugger etc. The top roles offered in the course are VLSI design engineer , embedded system Engineer , hardware design engineer etc.
Infrastructure: Coming to the infrastructure our college is very good. The facilities was very good there is no water, Internet, washrooms , AC's problems and all . The labs are very good . Our college library also contains several number of books if you want to prepare for the competitive exams also there are many books available . There is a gym in the college and that is my favourite place we can do workouts daily.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and experienced. They can teach very well and the course curriculum is very relevant and it makes the industry ready. The semester exams are little tough since my branch is ECE some core subjects are tough. We can write very well if we study hard. The pass percentage is 75% .
Other: Iam very much interested in VLSI especially in the design verification part. Iam very passionate about VLSI and i like very much to work with the electronic devices like chip designing that's why i choose this course. The best things in btech , ECE is future scope and we can on innovative things.
Iam very happy with my course but I feel better if we had more hands on experience.
The events are conducted in the campus rarely but the events are fantastic and extra curricular activities are also good.

Think before joining if you're unsure about your goals. The college is average.
Placements: There are fewer placements in my course, ranging from 3 to 40 LPA (packages above 30 LPA are due to student effort, not the college). VLSI is the most recommended area in my course. A very small percentage of students get good internship opportunities. Overall, the college does not provide enough awareness or put in sufficient effort for students.
Infrastructure: Labs are average in my course. Hostel facilities are below average. Sports and games are okay. They support all kinds of students in sports and extracurricular activities. The hostel and mess food are below average. Classrooms are old-fashioned, but the library is good.
Faculty: The curriculum is old and not very useful. Teaching quality is good, but not for all. Teachers should pay extra attention to all students. Semester exams do not have much impact on students, and faculty should be reviewed after the semester results. Teaching quality is good, but still needs improvement.
Other: There should be an updated curriculum in my course. Fests are good.

Life in GMRIT - Why you should consider joining GMR College.
Placements: Our college gets some companies for internships, and some of them have PPO offers too. I would like to rate my college 3.5. Least package is 2.5 LPA, and the highest package is 40 LPA up until now. 100% of the students get internships, and they can apply for placements in college when they have no backlogs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. I would like them to have more facilities like bigger rooms for hostel rooms. There is a new building under construction now. After its inauguration, more branches like cybersecurity and AI-related courses are to be included in the college curriculum.
Faculty: Faculty members for every department are an epitome for other instructors from other colleges. I have almost come into contact with every faculty, and everyone thrives for a better future. Though there might be some understanding between the teachers and students. HODs of every department respond cordially to their colleagues and to the students.
Other: There is nothing much to improve. If you want software jobs, you can apply to GMR College. It has the highest number of placements from the software side branches.

College is average, but you got good friends and memories.
Placements: Comparing the last 4 years, in 2024, placements are somewhat average. So think and join our college. CSE students got more job opportunities than other branches. Don't blindly believe our campus and come. Please take suggestions from those who have already joined.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too bad, and the food is also the worst. We can't eat that food; it's worse than Chaitanya and Narayana campus food. Our ECE block infrastructure is also bad. It is an old building, so we can't say how many days it will last. So be careful before coming to our college.
Faculty: Our ECE faculty teaching skills are average. Our faculty can teach any subject. Because computer subjects are taught by core faculty, and core subjects are taught by computer faculty, who are very talented. But their experience is good, so please think before joining our college.
