Goa Institute of Management (GIM Goa) is famous for its infrastructure and the courses it offers to students across Management, Accounting, Human Resource Management, and other streams. The total tuition fees of PGDM course is INR 21.4 lakh. Admission to GIM Goa is entrance-based. Candidates must first apply for admission via online mode. The selection process for PGDM course, includes XAT, CAT, CMAT, GMAT scores followed by face-to-face evaluation and profile assessment index. For PGDM BDA, candidates must also qualify GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) for admission. FPM admission is based on performance of candidates in personal interview round. The institute also considers academic performance, work experience, etc. for final selection to FPM course.

A pass in Master’s degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent grade along with 60% aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent is required to apply for the FPM programme.

The modes of Goa Institute of Management (GIM Goa) course admission are online and offline. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance examination scores. The accepted entrance exams are CAT, XAT, and others. Students applying through the CAT must first register for the CAT exam. Then appear for the CAT exams. CMAT 2025 was on January 25, 2025, almost four months ahead of previous years. The CMAT exam is usually held in March-April, but in 2023 and 2024, it was held in May. The last time CMAT was held in January was in 2019.

The NTA announced registration dates via an official circular, which was released online on the NTA website on November 14, 2024. For PGDM BDA, aspirants must also qualify GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) for admission. Additionally, Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) is required to apply for the PGDM course. Candidates appearing in the final year of the degree must obtain 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for the PGDM course. 

GIM Goa admission process involves registration, selection rounds and admission confirmation. Candidates need to qualify national-level Management entrance exams for selection. GAAT is GIM Aptitude Test conducted by the institute for admission to PGDM BDA and PGDM BDA + MSc in Business Analytics. Candidates need to register by paying application fee. Once entrance exam is conducted, selected candidates need to come for a personal interview round. After selection, aspirants need to pay the programme fee to confirm seat.

GIM - Goa Institute of Management MBA cut off 2024 has been released for admission to its MBA/PGDM course. The Institute does not releases the final CAT cutoff publicly and is only accessible through account login to those candidates who appear in the CAT examinations.
