The college has good ambiance and faculty.
Placements: Almost 10% of the students got placed. The average salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Pool placements conducted on the campus are less in number as our college is located in a hilly area. The placement cell is active. As per my knowledge, internships weren't available for students and hence no stipend. Students from our college go to other colleges to attend the placement drives of companies like TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available. It can be accessed from laptops and not mobiles. Computers with internet connection are available for students and can be availed in the break time. Labs and classroom facilities are good. Medical facilities are not available. Sports and games facilities are available. We have a gym facility in our college. The canteen is in poor condition compared to self-finance colleges.
Faculty: Faculty members in the EEE department are good, and I can say it from my personal experience. Professors in our college are qualified and knowledgeable, but they apply for transfer every year. The permanent staff will often get transferred. We have guest lecturers. They are good and very helpful. The industry exposure provided is less.

Good and calm college.Satisfied because of faculties and facilities.Teachers done their best for us.
Placements: 20 percent of students were placed in our college. The highest package is 10 Lacs and the lowest is 2 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are IBM, L&T, and QBurst. On-campus placements are below average. Most of the placements are through off-campus placements. Placements in the electrical department are very low. Students find their own way to internships. Almost everyone does internships.
Infrastructure: As a Government Engineering College, our college is also well-equipped. Classrooms and libraries are good. A common library and departmental libraries are available. Wi-Fi is available, but most of the time we cannot access it. The canteen is available, and the food is average. The nearest hospital is 5 km away from the college.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders. Two class advisors are available for a single class. Overall teaching was good. The curriculum is hard. We don't get enough time for studying. Semester exams are of moderate level. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: The best thing about this course is the practical sessions. I really like circuits and electricity, that's why I chose this course. The network and Wi-Fi should improve at our college. Events and fests are conducted but not like other government colleges. The college is not crowded. Various scholarships are available, some of them are eGrantz and the Reliance Foundation scholarship.

An 'above average' in terms of academics and 'below average' in terms of placements.
Placements: Only 1 student got placement from EEE in the year 2024, that too in a software company. The number of companies recruiting students from the EEE department in our college was very less. The top role offered was by L&T under the Graduate Engineer Trainee post.
Infrastructure: Hostels were good for the amount of ₹10 per day rent. Food was not that good. Facilities like Wi-Fi were provided but might not work for several days or months. Labs were not too bad. Sports were given importance by students, supported by faculty members, but the college ground is an adverse factor.
Faculty: The teachers of the EEE department were highly talented and had adequate knowledge of the subjects. The course must have some dismantling since newer technologies must be added. The third semester was bitterly difficult as it was a new stream for the students.
Other: The interaction between students will be high since most of them would be hostelers. The whole ambience along with the climate makes it a suitable college for your young lives. But the overall programs conducted by the college are less in number compared to other colleges.

Almost satisfied because of good infrastructure and facilities
Placements: About 60% of the student got placed every year in the campus. They are getting a salary package of about a minimof 5 lpa.Top recruiting companies here is Ey,Wipro,Tata Consultancy service etc. Most of the student got intership to the companies every year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of every department is top notch.Free high speed wifi is provided in every department,Classrooms are neat and tidy with projectors and smart classrooms.Labs are awesome almost have top facilities and the main problem facing here is mens hostel.Every students are staying in private hostels that is 6km away from college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in clearing doubts and almost of the faculties are experienced. They have a good knowledge about the subjects. They provides helpful tips for the studies.Teaching quality was very good. There is proper placement cell provided in the college to make students industry ready and for preparing the interviews.Pass percentage for the exams in each year is about 60+ percentage
Other: Events in this college is awesome. It is conducting every month and has different clubs that helps students to engage in different activities.

Q:   Are private sector BTech jobs better-paying than government jobs?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Well, yes. The private sector BTech jobs in India offer a higher earning potential than the government sector jobs, including promotions, yearly bonuses, performance rewards, etc., along with a plethora of career options across different sectors. Having said that, there is less scope for job stability in the private sector due to market downturns.

The government sector is known for decent job security and other benefits like health insurance and retirement benefits. Rest, you can sit and decide for yourself whatever suits your interests the best. Best wishes.
