B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) - Batch of 2029
5.0
Haldia Institute of Technology is good college for study and placement.
Placements: Good placement review this year. The highest package goes 75 LPA off-campus, and on campus goes 35 LPA. The college is really good. Placement rate is 90 percent so I recommend this college. This college campus invites good companies like Capgemini, TCS, and Jio.
Infrastructure: The facilities of this college are good. Hostel is good. It provides all things like Wi-Fi vision and bed. But mess lunch and dinner taste like very bad. In hostel, all equipments are there to play games.
Faculty: Teacher is helpful and good. They help all students, and the teaching quality is very good. They teach very well in class. The class is very good. Semester exams are difficult but faculty helps students very well during semester examination. All courses are available in this college. The faculty teaches well, and helps students with all courses.
Other: I chose course computer science engineering with specialisation artificial intelligence and machine learning.

I'm satisfied with the college infrastructure. The professors and mentors are very helpful.
Placements: The placement percentage for my batch is 91% in the year 2025. The average package is around 6 LPA-7 LPA. The lowest is 3 LPA and the highest is 24 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IBM, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, etc. Around 85% of students got internships in companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc. There are many roles offered in my course and the top role is artificial intelligence developer.
Infrastructure: All types of facilities are available in our college like Wi-Fi, smart class, and AC classrooms. Hostel rooms are also very clean. Every hostel has its personal fields for the students to play on the ground. The quality of food served here is excellent. You will be fully satisfied with the variety of foods available here.
Faculty: The teachers are well-knowledgeable and came from top IIT and NIT's. The course curriculum is very relevant. It does not make students industry-ready but enough to gain college-level knowledge. The difficulty of the semester exam is dependent on students' preparation but the questions are not so hard and it can expected to medium- hard level.
Other: I have chosen this course by seeing the industry need. This course provides me with plenty of knowledge and development skills that I can use in daily to day life to overcome any problem.

Average placement and average infrastructure.
Placements: This college is a tier 3 college, so the placement will be pretty average. I think this year the average package for CSE was approximately 6–7 LPA. Many companies have visited our campus, like IBM, Accenture, Infosys, etc. As placement is going on, no exact data is revealed for who has the highest package.
Infrastructure: My course is CSE-AIML. It has a separate block with its own computer lab, and in the computer lab, high-speed ethernet is provided. The staff are also supportive. Now, talking about our hostel, we have 5 hostels, of which 4 are inside the campus and 1 is outside the campus. From this year, the college has introduced a new rule in which only first-year students are allowed to stay in the hostel, and in the second year, they have to leave the hostel and live outside. This is bad because hostel life is important in engineering.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and we are provided with a mentor each year who is also supportive. If we have any problems, we can tell them, and they will help us. Our teachers are qualified; some of them have had these printed in IITs' books. But the teaching quality is not that good. I mean, you have to put in much more effort to understand the concepts taught by teachers on your own.

The college life and education is balanced perfectly.
Placements: According to 1st pass out AIML batch (2024) 70%. The highest salary is 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The average salary ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Accenture, PWC, Capsitech, and Capgemini are recruiting companies. According to batch 2025, 87% of students got internships. Roles offered are Machine learning engineer, system engineer, and software development engineer.
Infrastructure: Labs are very good. There are a lot of books on AIML. Hostel facilities are very good. But food is average and varies for every hostel. Sports culture is really very good. Wi-Fi is a little bit poor. Medical facilities are good. Both indoor and outdoor games are present.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Teaching quality is very good, from low to high every stage of students understand the topic very easily. Semester exams are little bit tough. 70% of questions are moderate type, 30% are tough type. This course makes the students for industry-ready.
Other: Many of our faculty members have obtained Ph.D. and are Google scholars. Teachers are very helpful.

Inside campus life: A perfect college review.
Placements: Nearly about 90% of students got placed from our college. Top recruiters include Wipro, Accenture, TCS, L&T, HCL Tech, Infosys, etc. Top roles offered are software developer, database engineer, ML engineer, etc. The highest package till now is 33 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 6-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are well-equipped with smart classrooms and projectors. Dedicated labs are available for practical learning DSA lab, AI lab, system lab, and AI lab. Sports facilities are well-maintained and sports complex with facilities for cricket, football, badminton, etc. Gym is available for fitness. Indoor games like table tennis, chess, and carrom are available.
Faculty: Most faculty members hold a Ph.D./M.Tech degree in their respective fields. Teaching methods includes smart classrooms, practical-based sessions, and project-based learning. Course curriculum is relevant and also it makes students industry-ready. Level of semester exams are moderately difficult which include deep learning of subjects. Internal assessments, practicals, and assignments are subjected to the final marks. Moreover, pass percentage of our batches is nearly about 98%-99%.

Haldia institute of technology College review.
Placements: The highest package is 33 LPA in 2024. Top companies are PWC, Cognizant, and GEOG. The placement percentage is 80%. More than 91% of students got internships in big companies like Flipkart. The lowest package that the company offers is 3.8 LPA. Most of the students get placed in IT companies.
Infrastructure: In this college, the annual fest is Prayukti. There are cafes and stores inside the campus. Most of the colleges don't have clubs, and even if they have, they are not active. We boast about the activities inside; these are very important to the all-around development of the students.
Faculty: The faculty members are cooperating and supportive, and the Chemistry faculty members are my favorite. There are three exams in each semester: first is CT1, CT2, and end-sem. CT1 is easy, class-based questions, and the end-sem of the college is moderate. Most of the students cleared the college exam. The course curriculum of this college is the same for all the first-year students.

In my opinion, my college is better for me.
Placements: My branch is computer science and engineering with a specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. AI systems learn and improve by analyzing large amounts of data. This 3-year undergraduate programme at Sharda University provides a foundation in computer Science and specialized training in AI and ML. Students learn how to develop AI and ML applications and algorithms and how to analyze data using statistical and machine learning techniques.
Infrastructure: This college has a fully Wi-Fi enabled campus, a resource center for visually challenged students, and a resource center in the library. One reviewer says the infrastructure is awesome, but the Wi-Fi network are not available. Another reviewer says the infrastructure is very good, but the education is not proper .
Faculty: Yes, our teachers are qualified; some are IITians and NITians. Yes, our course is better than others. Exams are mostly moderate; if you have studied, you can score better. Professors are responsible for creating their own curriculum, assignments, and exams. They also select textbooks, lecture on topics, and grade assignments.
Other: A student says that the college has a disciplined environment, high educational standards, and a good infrastructure. They also say that the college encourages students to participate in various activities and workshops.

Good infrastructure. Good faculty. Bad mess food.
Placements: Everyone is placed in the mass hiring companies. Although people prefer off-campus placements,. The highest package was 10 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Many people study for GATE, UPSC and other exams for higher studies. Most of the students work for placement and the smart population works off campus. Internships and off-campus placements are offered.
Infrastructure: The girls hostel has Wi-Fi facilities. The food is not that good. The library has a lot of books, although you won't find a lot of books on fiction. The library has Wi-Fi facilities as well. The classrooms are spacious and not that airy. There are many grounds. There are three on-campus girl hostels and one off-campus hostel. The hostel has a mess where the food is trash. The wardens are nice and only the hostel for first-year students has a private bathroom; the other hostels have public bathrooms.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful if you show interest in the subject. And they are not if you don't. The course is just like any other course for engineering colleges. The first year of B.Tech lessons will be the same for all the branches. The it branches would have subjects like math, chem, computer ( c ), and English with chem lab, English lab, comp lab and engineering drawing classes and the non-it branches at the same time would have math, physics, electrical, electronics, mechanical workshop, physical practical, electrical and electronics practical. And then, in the second semester, we switch the courses.
Other: I chose this course because AI is in demand and the market value is increasing manifolds.
