Good infrastructure and campus life, but faculty and placement support need improvement.
Placements: Placement is not that good. Average package is 5 LPA and placement rate is 70%. In this college, placement of chemical engineering branch is good here. Maximum package is of 10 LPA in chemical engineering. I advise that if you come to this college, then choose AIML branch because placement in this branch will be good in upcoming year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college and hostel is good. This college provide hostel to 1st year boys only. For girls, it is available till 4th year. There is too much ragging in boys hostel. There are 4 girls' hostel in our campus in which all 4 years girls stay. If you wish to live outside the campus, then you will take a flat on rent as boys do.
Faculty: There is good here if you go to teachers for any doubt, they will solve your doubt. Most of the teachers are M.Tech and some are PhD holders also. Most teachers speak in Bengal, but they also teach in English or Hindi. But Bengal student asks a doubt in Bengal, then teacher will also reply to them in Bengal, so you have to tell the teacher to explain in Hindi or English also.
Other: There is no festival held in our college, and there is no freshers' party in the college.
