The accepted entrance exam for admission to BCom (Hons), Hindu College, is CUET. CUET is typically conducted in the month of May. It is conducted in online (CBT) mode, once each year. In 2024, the exam was conducted over a testing period of 15 days, starting May 15, 2024. The result for the same is expected to be announced by the end of June. The registrations for the exam started in February and continued till April 2024.
Being under the umbrella of Delhi University, Hindu College has a life of its own. The college is known to conduct multiple fests throughout the year. The college is visited by great film personalities and several other dignitaries. For a fresher, the college conducts a fresher's party and also motivates the new students to attend the orientation conducted on the initial college days. The modes of Hindu College, Delhi course admissions are online and offline. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. Candidates applying through CUET must first register for the CUET exam. Then appear for the CUET exam. Then register on the DU CSAS portal. Submit the course and college preference. Candidates seeking admission to BCom (Hons) at Hindu College must have completed their Class 12 with the following subject conditions:
- Combination 1: Any one language from List A along with one among Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics + Any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1 OR
- Combination 2: Any one Language from List A along with one among Accountancy/ Book Keeping + Any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1
Final merit is subject to the scores obtained by the students in their CUET exam.
Starting 2022, Hindu College has stopped releasing the cutoff for BCom (Hons) and other UG courses publicly. Earlier, the institute, along with the University of Delhi used to release the cutoff scores for different category students across seven to eight cutoff lists. These lists were based on the Class 12 scores obtained by the students. With the introduction of CUET UG, the process for the release of cutoff has seen changes. Now, students who have applied to Hindu College in their DU CSAS registration form (after qualifying CUET UG) receive an admission call, provided they meet the set score standards of the institute. National Testing Agency will commence CUET 2026 registration in first week of March. Soon after the release of the CUET notification candidates candidates can check the important dates pertaining to CUET 2026. The last date for CUET 2026 registration will be notiifed aling with the last date for payment of fee.
Candidats will be required to fill the CUET application form within the given time frame, failing which no request for extension of the CUET registration last date will be entertained. NTA does not provide the window for late fee payment. CUET 2026 application process will be in online mode. No physical copies of the CUET application form must be sent to the authorities.
CUET result 2026 will be declared tentatively in first week of July. Candidates who will appear for the exam can download their CUET scorecard online when released. The link to download the CUET scorecard will be available at CUET results 2026. Candidates will be required to enter the login credentials to view the CUET 2026 scorecard online. CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form. Candidates must download and take the print of the CUET 2026 results when released.
