The college will be good if it will be handed to good people, otherwise, fate is clear.
Placements: Placements in the campus are less, the companies are invited, and they hire students for the training purposes only. They can't say with facts what is the highest package ever offered here on this campus, but as far as heard, it is believed that 7 lakhs per annum package have been offered as written in the records.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi and all the facilities. The infrastructure is the most unused thing in the campus. The Wi-Fi is available on the campus and a lifeline to the student living on the isolated island. For the namesake, everything is available on the campus, the canteen, two Nescafe, and dispensary, gym and even playrooms.
Faculty: The most unstable thing on the campus is faculty. The faculty is like a guest in the campus. Today, you will meet a teacher, and tomorrow, you will make a review about the teacher that he/she is good, and the day after tomorrow, he will be removed. During the last three years, have witnessed six director general and can't say about faculty.

Good infrastructure but weak placements.
Placements: The placements in the college are not good. In mechanical engineering, hardly any company visited for the final placements. The placements in other branches were better as compared to mechanical. The package offered by the only company visited in mechanical engineering was around 5 lakhs per annum. The placement in computer science is the best among all. Around 10 students got placed in CS with the average package of 5 lakhs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The full campus is Wi-Fi enabled. All the classrooms are well-equipped with all required facilities. The hostels are in a very good condition. Various canteens are available on the campus with good quality food and affordable price rates. A well-equipped gym is available for both girls' and boys' hostels.
Faculty: A few of the faculty members are well experienced and knowledgeable. Guest faculty lectures are held on a regular basis. For practical knowledge, various industrial visits are held periodically. The course syllabus is not up to date as new techniques are not involved in it.

A good institute overall.
Placements: Present scenario of the campus placement is declined. A number od companies visited the campus for the recruitment process and hired potential students. The average salary offered is in between 30-40k. Many students got internships from the college and students have the choice to do an internship on their own basis.
Infrastructure: The institute is equipped with world class laboratories and apparatus. The facilities offered by the department are: The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled, a big sports ground, indoor and outdoor, modern classrooms, a cafeteria for quality food and snacks. The hostel mess also provides good food according to the menu decided by the student committee.
Faculty: Lecturers help you in lectures as well as in tutorials of the course curriculum. Experienced and some fresh faces are also included in the faculty staff. Several new techniques were used during the course for teaching by the professors. A number of industrial visits were organised by the college administration for the students.

A perfect destination for the upcoming engineers.
Placements: There is a need to improve the campus placement in the college. Placement was good at the time of senior batch, many students of the senior batch got placed in reputed companies. 20 out of 60 students of the mechanical engineering got campus placement. Many students got an internship from the college every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is well- planned and the whole of the campus including the hostel is Wi-Fi enabled with high-speed data. The labs are fully established and all the equipment are in a good condition. A large cafeteria and a canteen is there where students can get quality food and snacks.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-educated and helpful towards the students' problems and various curriculum issues. The latest technology is used in teaching. The student-faculty ratio is also good. Each student got the attention of the professors. The course curriculum is also useful and based on the practical knowledge.

Other: College is located in the village of Roopnagar called Bhaddal. It is 8 km from the National Highway. The campus is fully residential with the option of day boarding. College runs various buses connecting Chandigarh, Ropar, Nagal with the college. The hostel rooms are very spacious and big. The college has very excellent sports facilities football and cricket especially. As far as teaching is concerned the faculty might have changed but overall it is strict and competent. The examination process is rigorously followed and results are normally good. As far as placements are concerned, not many organizations visit the campus which is a very drawback. I would suggest a college which is near to a city because there is less exposure here as compared to those colleges.
