For admission to IIM Jammu for the flagship MBA (or PGP) course, the result of CAT 2023 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 (If the CAT conducting body follows the trend as in 2022). However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for IIM Jammu admission.
As per the Indian government policy, there are seat reservations for candidates belonging to certain categories at IIM Jammu. The reservation policy at IIM Jammu is as follows:

IIM Jammu MBA/PGDMIIM Jammu MBA 2026 Fee
The MBA program fee at IIM Jammu is INR 22,80,756 for two years. The first year fee is INR 11,37,378, and the second year fee is INR 11,43,378. The Tuition Fee is INR 2,39,635 per term for all six terms, which amounts to INR 14,37,810 for the whole program. Other fees like hostel, library, IT, and student welfare fee also have to be paid, which on average stand at INR 1.40 Lakhs per term. The first term of the second year, that is, Term IV, has a slightly higher cost of INR 1,45,491 than the rest of the terms.
Besides the above program fees, there are some additional fees to be paid, which include a refundable caution deposit of INR 50,000. It is to be noted that the hostel and mess fee is over and above the above-mentioned costs and has to be paid separately, if applicable. This makes it easier to pay the fees in three terms per year, for two years.
IIM Jammu provides education loans with a facility of up to INR 40 lakhs without collateral from public sector banks such as State Bank of India, Canara Bank, Union Bank, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, etc.

IIM Jammu MBA Admission Dates 2026
MBA admission for IIM Jammu starts with the CAT exam in November and culminates in the final admission offer in May. Hence, CAT exam dates become important for the candidates seeking admission to the institute. The CAT results are declared in January. 1. Entrance Exam
The first step in the IIM Jammu MBA admission process is registering for an accepted entrance exam. Admission in IIMs is through CAT only. Thus, the aspirants have to register and apply for the entrance test online (iimcat.ac.in). Alternatively, those who have qualified for GATE, GRE, GMAT, JRF (UGC/CSIR) or UGC-NET examinations can also apply in the relevant area of specialisation.
2. Selection Process
Based on the entrance exam scores, candidates are called for Personal Interviews (PI). The 10 IIMs together conduct Personal Interviews (PI) through the Common Admission Process (CAP 2026). In addition to the Common Admission Process, IIM Jammu will conduct an additional Supplementary Admission Process (SAP 2026) for candidates who meet IIM Jammu PI shortlisting criteria but do not meet the CAP 2026 cut-off criteria.
3. Merit List
A merit list containing the names of the shortlisted candidates is prepared based on entrance exam score (40% weightage), PI (30% weightage), academic qualification and relevant work experience (30% weightage). The shortlisted candidates are then sent admission offers via email.
4. Offer Acceptance & Fee Payment
A candidate receiving an admission offer from IIM Jammu has to pay the offer acceptance fee within the stipulated date. It is called the offer acceptance fee of INR 50,000 and is later adjusted against the Term I fee. Other fee components include tuition fees, caution deposits, one-time fees, etc.

IIM Jammu offers scholarship/ financial assistance to meritorious students. The scholarships are offered under two categories-
- Need-cum-Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is designed for second-year MBA students with a minimum CGPA of 7.00 without any failing grades. This financial aid is based on your family's annual income: you can receive a 100% tuition fee waiver if your family earns less than INR 3 lakh, a 50% waiver for income between INR 3 lakh and INR 4 lakh, and a 25% waiver for income between INR 4 lakh and INR 5 lakh. Only the top 10% of the batch can receive this aid, and you must not have any disciplinary issues or other active scholarships.
- SC/ST and Minority Scholarship: IIM Jammu helps students apply for SC/ST and Minority scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and has tie-ups with banks to assist you in securing educational loans.
